    all companies should provide a protective environment coating on all exposed copper, which will reduce environmental corrosion of copper which always is 90% cause of gas leakage especially near salty coastal areas, i also have the same problem in my outdoor unit.

      You can not manufacture copper coil,plastic body along with assemble..both are different things..coils are made in copper factory like in hindalco, plastic body made in plastic company..

    croma is a budget ac from tata like reconnect from reliance now voltas a marginally better product similar to godrej, then better brands like bluestar exists ....then there is the korean brands like samsug and lg then the more better brands from japanese makers like hitachi, toshiba, panasonic, daikin and then the top premium brands like o general , mitsubishi heavy duty, mitsubishi electric.......ok nice to see want more video like these....👍

      Sir this is a Made in India product. 20% of sub components are needed to be procured from specialized units from outside due to lack of same in India. If we could get all suppliers from India at the same cost then only companies will able to manufacture 100% Indian parts product.

      @@sanketprabhudesai3556 brother all the machinery for example ejection mold and all are also imported from china , only thing we produce is the plastic beads to used in the enjection mold. In true sense we can't call it made it india. Cooper coil is exception In this case. It is not some high tech product we should boast about making.

      @@pathanamthittakaran81 mitsubishi heavy aircons are made in thailand philipines china and japan. , their "akabishi" line is made by a local indian company like pg electroplast in the video , those have nothing to do with mitsubishi quality.

      @@pathanamthittakaran81 Mitsubishi Electric has a factory in Thailand and it was all made in Thailand and shipped to India until recently. Mitsubishi Electric is now setting up a factory in Andhra Pradesh to manufacture ACs in India locally. I own two Mitsubishi ACs manufactured in Thailand. Both have performed reliably without fail for over 7 years now.

      its not by croma. they are just OEM. factory is not owned by them. same factory makes ac for many other brands. most of core products are just imported

      All components and part are important mainly from china. Major parts is from Midea.

      highly has their manufacturing unit in sananad. and other chinese compressor makers like gmcc also have their manufacturing units in india. lg makes a lot of compressors in india. compressors are not complex to make they require a lot of metal work. some brands like daikin hitachi have their own compressor manufacturing but they also buy compressor from gmcc and highly for cheaper consumer models in order to compete with local brands.

      @@KuntalGhosh AC is not a complicated product, has been in production for 100 years, If all components are also manucfactered in India then you can say its 100% indian manufactured unlike the smartphone industry in India where 90% of the components are imported, now that is assembly.

      @@polaris1985 major mechanical and electrical components of an ac is made in india. the compressor used in india is off a chinese brand but that maker is in india since the early 2000s. they have a factory in gujrat. that brand of compressor is in dakin and hitachi units too , other brands like lg , gmcc make their compressor in india too for low budget aircons. for high budget aircons you have even better brands like copland and danfoss making compressors and other control systems in india. danfoss even makes inverters in india for industrial machinery. then there is abb , schinder and few more . motors are also made in india as those are simple parts. the pcb inside these bldc fan motors for the indoor and outdoor probably comes from china , the main inverter board and indoor board is also from china as the parts are made there and manufacturing cost is simply cheaper for any brand. it would not take long for brands to start making these boards in india too.

    i want to contribute to the quality point,it seems in the video the cooling fins \heat exchangers ,all are already haveing dents on them because of workers not taking enough care while assemby may be due to pressure to produce more number of untis in a short time.

      It's just filling the market with multiple brands with minor differentiators. Nestle has 2000 brands. Adding multiple brands when the brand has value is one easy way to capture Market share

    Lot's of wrong info. Calling the evaporator as condenser and an injection mold as "3D printer".
    Also, note that they don't show the manufacturing of compressor (the most important part). That compressor is made by "Highly", a cheap Chinese company. These cheap Chinese compressors won't last long.

      highly & gmcc compressors are in cheaper consumer models of daikin, hitachi carrier , bluestar , godrej,... croma units are the cheapest on market you shouldn't be expecting copland or danfoss in a sub 30k 1.5ton ac unit. these will last long enough to cover the 10 year warranty amd the main failure point on these are the cheaply made vfd drive inverters.

    The fan absorbs heat from your hone 😂😂😂. The fan is there to cool the condenser of outdoor unit.

      Actually it's the refrigerant that absorbs the heat from the room and the fan that ejects that heat from condenser

      @@royalbhala767 Nothing absorbs the heat in an air conditioner. It’s just a cycle of the charged gas to make it cool for the indoor unit so the fan inside can filter the air to cool air.

    The PCB, the compressor, and may be even the remote is all made in China. We indians are just duped by interchanging "assembling" with "manufacturing". Still unsure of the long term reliability of these cheap brands.

      10 yrs ago even these jobs weren't there. 10yrs from now, we will even start manufacturing the parts. It's a process. Everything doesn't happen overnight.

    It is a shame that a tata brand is putting a Chinese compressor and putting a "make in India" board in their assembly line.
    Tata, while successful in business and responsible corporate citizen, has failed to create good products. They just know how to manage a business, make foreign collaborations and use the Tata brand. On a very few occasions you will see Tata working on ground braking core products and technologies.

In short the technology used by companies to protect their technology from theft... what it means for user that in case of any repair work you have to contact authorized service centre only... cause the software required for repair work is available with them and they can charge as per their will... Even new appliances policy is there so your appliances will work according to programmed life... technically you no longer owner of that product but an user who pay one time rent + service extra...

    Unreliable croma AC. Would never recommend. Got internal copper pipes(internal indoor unit) leaking in 1.5 years , while the warranty ended in 1 year. Had to spend 3k 4k to get it repaired. Plus the AC behaves confusing when there is more humidity outside.. unsatisfactory product.

    I find carrier and trane o general hitachi real ac , whirlpool too good , croma ac are bad quality low quality compressor wires cables conduits avoid this aircon
