I've experienced being hit by typhoon/hurricane, earthquake, flood so many times that there's this feeling of uneasiness whenever I step in a bamboo house. That's also the reason why in the Philippines you'd only see these bamboo huts as a gazebo and not as a main dwelling.
In contrast to Philippines, there's no hyphoons/hurricanes on Bali and most equatorial countries like Indonesia. But anyway, this gorgeous work of art is surely made just for amusement of the more fortunate.

I was just disgusted at the prefab, vinyl siding crap being sold in my area. It's insulting but that's all people know.

We have been encouraged to utilize the blessings Allah has put here for our use, yet we are told not to lose sight of the temporary nature of this life, and to use it to make preparations for the next life.
