- Developed by Kemko and Infinite Ventures in 1999 for the N64, Shadowgate 64 was the third and final entry in the series. Able to stand as its own, the game exists as a very unique first person adventure game, and one that provides haunting atmospheres and ambience not seen on other titles on the system.
Come back with me to wander the long forgotten hallways of castle Shadowgate, and stop evil before it can claim the kingdom.

Great review. SG64 is my favorite N64 game of all time, and I can tell you know what you are talking about when it comes to the small details of this game. Loved the Shadow Man reference too!
@@kamifolding I'm glad you liked it!
I have loved the mood and atmosphere of this game since the first time I played it, it's such a shame it was never more well known.
The nerd kitty in the beginning looked like a hamster 🤣
He looks a bit like a hamster in real life, so that's a fair assessment. 🐹
7:53 bro got the Jon Snow treatment haha
Thanks again for your very quality videos on a very fine selection of very interesting games! :>
I'm happy to do it!
Thank you for using that particular emoji! I feel like I haven't seen it in ages, it always reminded me of a bird haha :>
Bruh this is a GOOD channel. I saw gameplay of this a few months ago, found a longplay of it without any interesting insight or commentary. Sometimes i prefer this but lately I'm watching gameplay/fun commentary style videos almost exclusively when it comes to retro game videos.
I think some of these really old games are really not equipped to have other people be entertained by watching another player.
To this end, wittty banter and humourous observations take sometimes less than thrilling gameplay and make it a more comedy focused thing rather gaming alone😊 cheers
Hey appreciate the support. I started the channel literally having no idea how to edit, and have been working on it each video. I figure if I can make myself laugh with the stupid edits I put over top someone else will enjoy it as well. I will never cease to be amused by adding the same explosion animation in all my videos haha.
Another enjoyable review of an esoteric game! Also it sounds like that dude is chanting BANANA
I never noticed that, but you're right it does! This released only months before Donkey Kong 64 and I will now forever believe that this is a hidden Easter egg.
haha nice!

God bless Walrussy, coming with another obscure thing i never seen yt offering the vid about. I like you sometimes dive in obviously mediocre games, and give us your honest reaction
I have to stay honest if I want to maintain the title of Walrussy.
@@aquawalrus tbh i just wanted to have a reason to put a comment at your vid, since algorithm likes it. And it was the first thing what came to my mind (unfortunately?), and became some sort of personal meme. I have no intention to offend you in any way, and if its just annoys you - i can cease it.
@@Neighter it doesn't annoy me at all! Puts a smile on my face every time :p
If I were more clever I would come up with one to send back. Neightussy? Haha
Played it on a Mac if I remember?
@@PNW_Sportbike_Life this one was specific to the N64, but the original released on the Mac for sure, possibly played that one?
Or maybe emulation!
Just commenting because I’ve really been wanting to stumble across a channel that covers old computer RPGs like yours! Really happy the algorithm recommended me your channel.
You should consider covering the old Ultima games too if you haven’t already! Would love to hear your thoughts on them.
I'm glad you found the channel as well! Ultima is definitely high on my list to start sooner or later. Shockingly a series I've never played even outside the channel. I've heard either Ultima 7 or Underworld are great starting points, though I would probably play them all eventually.
