Weddings are single day events, expenditure of resources on a single day event vs placing that funding on building your lives should be considered. 30k on a wedding or 30k placed towards a home. Just something to consider.

I was surprised when you didn't mention NOT out-dressing the groom--this is a style channel, after all. I personally think it's good to look good, but not in the sense of showing off like you're on the runway.
I thought $100 was really low. I've only been to 4 weddings in my 30yrs on this earth and the lowest I gave was $500 and the most was $1000. I think I might have to start turning it down a bit haha.
Man if you got it like that you do you. My mom always gives in that range as well. We were speaking 'minimum' and thinking of young people who may have just graduated college. -G
