  • Thanks for tuning in everyone. This is the 12th video in the 2008 Honda Pilot complete interior swap. In this video, as part of our full interior swap, we have to remove the entire dash. As part of the mystery of trying to figure out how to remove the dash, I went through the process of removing the Radio unit and the climate control unit. Turns out, not necessarily needed to do the dash, but at the same time, it didn't hurt. Despite this, it made for a great how to tech tip on the removal of these units. You may be needing to remove these for other reasons, maybe replacement or repairs. Maybe an upgrade to an aftermarket system. Or, I can see this being helpful if you are needing to do any wiring through the dash for any other reason. Follow along on this step by step tech tip. Reinstallation is as simple as reversing the removal process. Should be the same for like years, and might be similar for other years and models. If you enjoyed the video, or if it helped you out, please tap that like button and subscribe for more in this series and even more tech tips on other makes and models in the future. As always, comments are always welcome. Thanks for watching. - Sponge

do you have to do all of this to remove just the HVAC control moduel? and how would you get it off without taking off the small cluster of things right underneath it?
