I have an old trunk that belonged to my great gran, saddens me that my kids don't see the history I do. I even have a letter the death letter my great gran got when her grandmother was killed by a train. History gone unfortunately...

Kids science sets can be a lot of fun too, I'm really looking forward to seeing everything when the videos are made. The old food thing is incredibly interesting, not only to see the difference in size, but to experiment about how food goes off or keeps OK despite the years. You have quite a few sealed items there, it'll be amazing to see how well they have kept.

Things when we were younger I think seemed bigger as we were smaller. You chocolate dessert would be said as one and tupence. I think it should be fun seeing what your going to try,. It must be a hard job keeping things thought out all the time. Well done . It was the only way to communicate years ago. It took ages to write send then be read , and a new letter written and send back.

Great idea getting some vintage foods now only to maybe taste but to look at under the microscope after 40 Years and compare the equivalent from 2024. Like you said should get some interesting finds im looking forward to this.
