You stand above the rest of the RUclips teachers on this topic, because you relate pitches to feelings. Super helpful and real-deal! Thank you! Happy Birthday!
Always feel like the best people to learn any music theory even the simplest one is from jazz musicians, to me your like magicians. אגב יש לך שם ישראלי יש מצב מצאתי נגן מטורף מישראל בטעות?
thank you for prioritizing using your ears as well as assigning emotional qualities to different chords/scales/sounds, its super important to be able to draw on those sounds based on that emotional context instead of “this is what scale to play over this type of chord” which is mostly what i see on this platform these days, really appreciate it ❤️ also happy bday dude!!!
Happy Bday, Rotem! What I like about your videos is your emphasis on „listening“ and „feeling“ (the different qualities of a tone in relation to a gravitational center, the qualities of chord-colours in the context of a progression,……..). Thanks for that!
Starting on Tuesday 4th of January! Thank you for your inspiration! Update! Practiced for about 2 weeks off and on.. More comfortable with fretboard! Thanks again!
I'm only less than a year in, but I do know the C Major scale in open position, the minor pentatonic (at least at A), and I understand how major scale works. I don't know the other positions, but I'm sure I could probably figure them out. My first pedal was a looper, so sounds like I should just drone a C and have at it.
Love your teaching style and connection to the emotion of music. I’m looking forward to this challenge. And fingers crossed for the guitar! 🤞 Thank you.
An excellent tutorial and I will definitely try this. It really comes across that you are really moved by the actual sounds you are making. I think this is an excellent approach to learning guitar.
Thx for the prompt. My starting position is basically being okay with the open position, but everything else is in darkness. I can sit and think to shine a torch to make a single note visible, but it all goes back to darkness straight after.
I am starting right now! video came out at a perfect time man. I appreciate all that you teach me, and I see you as one of the best guitar teachers out there, I really admire your work and work ethic. I hope I can win the guitar, but I just appreciate the fact that you are giving back to your fans in such a meaningful way. Thank you.

Happy birthday!
It's done. Thank you so much and happy birthday.
A big hug from Barcelona.
My birthday today (Jan 2) too! Been playing guitar now for 70 years, started around 13-14 yrs. Still love it, still learning! Happy Birthday! ❤❤❤
It's surprising how using shapes and patterns makes one very ignorant of note names on the fretboard!

Happy Bday from Cold Sweden! Please make a Video how us Intermediate-Amateurs could find people to Jam/Gig with to grow and improve!

I'm curious about running a hollow body guitar with the hole covered up. Do you have a video talking about your guitar setup?
Happy birthday
