This was really motivating. While I am fortunate to be steady with deals, slower points allow me to focus on what I really want to create. I kinda welcome slower points! But saving properly and being good with money management really helped too.

I read somewhere that companies are no longer implementing DEI. Some of them have slowly phased it out and others have gotten rid of it completely. I'm sure that most of them implemented it during the pandemic because of everything that was going on. It was performative. Now that things are returning to normal, they feel that it's no longer needed. What they don't understand is that it's always needed. smh
Yes! I should have included that a lot of the slow down is also do to a change is “priorities.” It’s been sad (but expected) to watch.

I know what they are and how they work, just don't know which ones are effective. Do you need a large following for them to generate income?
Good question -- it's all about how you market them. I've seen microinfluencers make bank from affiliate linking and the other way around. The biggest key is consistency in how you encourage your audience to support you. Of course, you also need to be seen as a resource.
I followed for the politics and fashion yet I’m waiting to see any videos on how a genocide is effecting the fashion market as well as the international boycotts of brands.
If a lack of a certain perspective affects you negatively, then I suggest you go elsewhere to find the analysis you’re seeking. Policing a Black woman’s platform is not a good use of your time nor alleged advocacy.
