Dick Clark: "and now to kick off this edition of American Bandstand, this is Milton DeLong and Lee Ringuette with the theme to The NEW Newlywed Game" The NEW Newlywed Game Theme and the 82-87 Set of American Bandstand is PERFECT Dick Clark: "and that was the theme to The NEW Newlywed Game, yes it's new because the show is returning this fall to 1985 on various stations across the country, and now here to talk about it is the host of the show since it started here in this studio almost 20 years ago, please greet a dear friend to the Bandstand Mr. BOB EUBANKS!" Bob: "YES SIR!" (kids clapping and cheering) Mr. Clark: "How are you sir?" Bob: "Fine and you my friend?" (handshake) Mr. Clark: "I'm surviving"
I LOVE the theme to The All New Newlywed Game The Gold Set Era designed by the late Ed Flesh & Jimmy Cuomo is my favorite along with the Gary Kroeger Set
Chusk Barris Wrote this , and Milton Delugg Bastardised this version. To hear the original as Barris wrote it, search you tube for "Eddie Rambeau - “Summertime Guy” 1962
This sounds more like 1977 and not 1985. I was thinking they were going to use this when the show returned in 1977 but wound up with the 1973 theme instead.
Those are our newlyweds for today and here’s your host, the star of The All New Newlywed Game, Bob Eubanks!!
This theme doesn’t get enough love.
While Bob Eubanks Hosted THE ALL NEW NEWLYWED GAME, He was Also Hosting CARD SHARKS
The mid-1980’s reboot version of “The Newlywed Game”!! Back when I was about 4 or 5 years old!!

Composed by Milton DeLugg, Lee Ringuette, and Chuck Barris.

I grew up with this theme
Sounds like Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass
I like this theme.
I like this theme, but, I wish that someone would post the 1998 theme. That was my favorite one
This definitely sounds like a hip, cool fun 1980's version of the theme
Sounds like Barris met up with Pac-man for this arrangement.

Far as I'm concerned, the original is the alpha and omega. 'Nuff said.
