Bob Eubanks is probably one of the greatest game show hosts who ever lived. He was excellent as the host of Newlywed Game, and he also was a good host of the eighties game show Trivia Trap.

Believe this or not, I remember this episode. This was my moms favorite game show and she always had me watching it with her. This has brought back so many memories. Im 55yrs old, they told me that I was an old soul. I was to young to understand that. Anyhow, I wished Jeri & Mike would have won. A beautiful famous couple that I love❤🙏🏻

I actually rented an apt. from Bob Eubanks' parents in 1979. It was attached to their house and clise to the beach in Flirida. His mother would serve me cookies and milk. I remember seeing Bob's baby picture and school pictures. I thought that was so cool! ❤😊
You two may not have won the game, but you won in life. Thanks for the full episode. I love full episodes of the old Newlywed Game. There are only two episodes that I like more than this one: the Pat and Charlie Berg episode and the famous Hank and Olga’s “in the butt” episode.

I actually do remember seeing it when it first aired. I didn't watch much tv at the time, but I happened to catch it, and Jeri and Mike were so cute I was really rooting for them.

People are making $500 a week back in the 70s? That’s how much people make now a lot of the time😮
That's right cause I was working in the 70s and by time I brought my check home not quite 500 but close. Things were lot cheaper than could afford to live and eat . Not much left for entertainment but we had cable.
I can assure you people were not making anywhere close to that.
Likely considered wealthy with that income
In my state people were certainly not pulling that in a week on average.
I make $2000 a week in 2024

Now, I see something. Toucle Jr. Smith, my first cousin. Thank God for vocational schools. Sometimes people can't take the pressure of going to college or universities. Sometimes it can be too much for somepeople, all that longs studying. Toucle Jr.Smith, pass away in January, 2016. And was married to another wife. But, Edith was very nice while they were married. Sometimes, things don't just work out. That happens.
