- This was Operation Broken Wings and was a really fun and unique operation where instead of constantly fighting and attacking, we were mostly evacuating civilains, blowing bridges and blocking roads all while evacuating the country.

Honestly, T2 is always welcomed sight. It means you are about to be saved.
Thunderbird 2 is already an air logistician's dream. Arming it (with more than the nose demolition cannon) would make it nightmarish. Imagine a specialised pod just filled with guns and missile tubes.
I picture that gunship pilot sitting at home piloting that thing with aviators on. Absolutely had the right energy for the job
Here I am hearing "Lucky 38" and "Codsworth" and going "oh, sounds like it might be something of a fallout theme to the callsigns" and then almost immediately, along comes "Fisto". Yep.

As one of the Engineers blowing bridges and rock faces up in this operation (sat next to Amma at 4:25), the funniest part that is left out is the engineers constantly rolling our little cars. Those Mules would flip constantly at the slightest incline. This required the Zeus to un-flip them several times; there were a few explosions caused by this as well. We also fortified the building that Rimmy walks into at 8:25 with a minigun at the front entrance and turned that town into a giant fort.
There is also a tank on the hill East of that building, I drove a mule all the way there to build a trench for them and then realized that I didn't have an Entrenching-tool. I then flipped the mule and then had to walk the entire 1.5 kilometers back from the hill while the tank crew and my own squad made fun of me. This operation was absolutely phenomenal.
I absolutely love the "Death from Above" COD MW mission references. God XD

Those Fallout themed callsigns are a great touch! Makes me think about how terminology could evolve in the coming years, as Millennials and Gen Z slowly replace the older generations in senior positions... 😂

I've been setting up to run a Fallout campaign set after New Vegas. When I started this video and saw that it was Vietnam but all of the call signs were Fallout references I thought I was hallucinating or something.
"The ArmA song" can kiss my ass, this is the single coolest thing to watch
(I actually love the ArmA song but you get my point)
That whole song is beloved by the community because it's honestly a fair comparison compared to arcaders. It never says arma is unfun, just a LOT to learn.
Let me let you in on a little secret;
The Arma song is totally wrong. It is easy to learn. You just don't press anything, except WASD and right/left click. And those two, you do very sparingly.
Do this and you'll be set for 90% of operations.

You know what I'd like to see? An Arma 3 Operation using Helldivers 2 mods including Helldivers vehicles, weapons and armor.

maybe i've been spoiled by heli pilots doing insertions that go 100mph to zero instantly but the landings in this video were a little slow. those pilots need to practice.

@@RimmyDownunder i picked it up before release and damn, its popping off, modding for it is significantly easier, runs really good, crossplay, i made a couple of mods already and i am shit at coding lol.
not to mention RHS and ACE have amazing replacements that are the same if not better already then what they did for arma3, imagine a fully working and interactive interior to a tank (a computer), rhs did that.
