He sounds like he is drunk when he sings it live "I think" since the song talks about it and it's like a group of drunk people , friends, are singing and drinking together in the town's bar, something like that and they are fighting some kind of battle in their mind.. That's what I think.

This one was early, in Poland, more balkan/slavic sound. They way I loved it.
