Cleveland weather forecast: Heating up with storm chances

Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for May 10, 2024:
The summer-like heat is here and summer-like showers will follow. Get prepared for more toasty conditions to flow in through midweek. The high heat coupled with lingering humidity will produce isolated showers and thunderstorm chances. Keep a close eye to the skies midday through early evening. Storms that do bubble up could produce brief heavy downpours and a gusty wind.
A more organize push of cooler air will arrive Wednesday. Our midweek cold front could signal a threat of severe storms across Northeast Ohio. Our long-range models are still inline with Wednesday afternoon and evening at this point. Severe storms or not, temperatures and humidity will retreat back to seasonal norms for late-May.
