My starter just died. Very informative. Have to watch again. Maybe I can do this myself. Need a bike lift and a couple bits and pieces, plus a new starter.
Hey so I’m struggling to put the primary cover the top part seems to be flush but the bottom doesn’t. Even when I’m putting the bolts back it still doesn’t seem to be flush. What might be the problem ?
I think he had the same question as me, but I think he (and I) was asking, do you HAVE to remove it, or can you just leave the cable attached and remove the whole cover with it
no my battery wouldn't hold a charge anymore because the stator wasn't working anymore. I upgraded the clutch pack and replaced the regulator since I was there. My heads are leaking but I've been putting off the new gaskets for years now. Some year I'll be having a good time replacing the gaskets and some of the oil lines that leak all over.
I recently bought my nightster and there was a major oil leak, I noticed the drain hose coming from the oil tank had a cut so I replaced it and that stopped most of it, the primary drain plug is not leaking or the derby cover, the primary gaskets seems ok, is there anything else I should look at for a leak, its minimal maybe residual from tank hose but I don't know?
Thanks for making video and listing tools, I'm having trouble replacing my chain tensioner on my 01 sporty

I observed several good tips in this video! Thanks!!!
Thank You so much for making my life easier. Short and to the point!
Why didn’t you remove the handlebars, front wheel and rear taillight too? Lol, you removed a bunch of shit that was unnecessary.

The primary chain adjuster is in the way. Maybe push up on it with a small screwdriver then push cover in...
I'm here cause I dropped an Alan key in my inspection cover while checking my chain tension....
😂 shit
Thank you so much!
Does it matter where u put the primary screws back in? I'ma replace em w the chromes anyways

You can loosen the cable and leave it attached to the cover, but remove the adjuster under the derby cover..
at 3:04 how would you be able to place it in 5th without the shifter ?
Hi have question is same cover 04 or 05 need replace both cover for Chrome but myself try replace thanks
All that just to remove the crank case? Screw that I’ll pay Harley to do it
Why did you remove the cover was the gasket leaking?
