Maine caratlane ka mangalsutra, nose pin, earrings daily use kar rahi hu, hamesha peheni hu, kuch bhi nahi tuta. Tanishq se nosepin liya tha, pehen te wqt tut gaya.. so for me caratlane is good for light weight jwellery. Tanishq ke making charges are too too much high..

I recently purchased a 14k necklace and earrings from Caretlane and i was totally shocked to see that the product was so dull..It had already lost its luster and was extremely delicate to wear it for daily purpose even though it was meant for daily purpose..Not happy at all...😢

It is funny how you can just trust someone’s review blindly on the internet. It is all about personal experience and I can see many ladies in the comment section just like myself who have had good experience with CaratLane.
As a South India n a frequent gold shopper I always prefer buying 22k pure gold jewellery n try to avoid beads n stones this way my return value increases n I always buy from a trusted local store rather than any brands once I wanted to buy a diamond earrings n chked in malabar the pricing was around 74k n wen I got the same design with same diamonds with certificate I got it for 60k

I agree but if we want to exchange old gold purchased decades ago with new piece of jewellery, it is better to visit branded store. Reason is, such old gold jewellery is not hallmarked and may or may not be of 22 k. I had my grandmother's bangles of 22 k. Few big local jewellery store told me they were of 18 k. Then I checked with Reliance, Senco and Kalyan. They turned out to be of 22 k. 😮😮

What's the weight of this bracelet? For daily wear rough and tough use u need at least 10 gram or 12 gram gold in it. Whether u buy from any jeweller it doesn't matter. There has to be sufficient quantity of metal which can endure rough use. If jewelry piece is lightweight and delicate it shouldn't be put to rough use
Actually, its all about maintaining the jewelry, cleaning it regularly. I have bought from both these shops and I have been satisfied.

I have bought three gour items of jewellery from caratlane.They are amazing till now.
My husband gifted me a pendant 18 kt from bluestone which is less than 2 gms in weight , I wear that pendant in a 7 gm (22kt) gold chain always and nothing has happened to the pendant or the gold chain , shine and quality everything is intact.....on the contrary , I have a bangle ( noa badhano) which married bong women have to wear daily , it is approx 8.5 gm and my husband purchased it from Tanishq ( 22kt) and due to daily household chores, two small ball kind of design fell from that bangle.....when I went to Tanishq to get it checked , they repaired it properly but also said that this design is not for daily wear purpose......so, all jewellery designs are not compatible for daily wear purpose , even if they weigh around 10 gms too. Some are daily wear friendly and some aren't . So, when we are buying gold jewellery , we should decide which one to go for depending upon how frequently we will be wearing them and if it's at all daily wear friendly or not.
Sorry for your bitter experience, but shayad apko kum knowledge hai about making chargea... Making charges are always deducted in percentage of the gold used.... Agar 15% making hai for bracelet toh agar 5gran ka jewelry hai toh uske hisaab se deduction hote hai making ke and always GST and Making nahi milta hai return pe.... Have faced similar experience against my mangalsutra and chain from PC jewelers and Malabar... Caratlane have been using from past 5 years and koi issue nahi aaya... I think local jewellers are best for delicate jewelry pieces.
You are 100% correct, they make their charges such that one would not prefer to exchange due to losses..this whole diamond beautiful jewellery industry is looting people..invest in 22k gold jewellery or buy diamonds from kalyan/ malabar..tanishq using too tiny diamonds nowadays which easily fallout..don't buy tiny diamonds jewellery..better invest in solitaire if at all you are desperate for diamonds 🤗🤩

Problem is not with store …. If you buy diamond…. Always making charge is high as comparison to pure gold jewellery … if you buy diamond from local store and you want to sell or exchange they will deduct a huge amount in the name of deductions as comparison to branded store even Tanishq diamond is so costly and making charge is to high … rest is individual choice they want investment or a good looking jewellery

Never found any problem with my caratlane jewellery . Even the daily wear ones 🤷♀️ . Handling of delicate jewellery also matters. These delicate thin bracelets aren't meant for rough wear .
I agree I have Tanishq earrings rest of my jewellery is from local trusted store and that Tanishq earrings shine so bright even after 1.5 year. Also my ring is from Malabar and even their diamond quality is quite superior sometimes I feel even better than Tanishq.
Whatever the brand is, Caratlane/Bluestone/tanishq/malabar whatever it is, daily use mein fancy chiz nhi tikega.... More than 7-8 gram tik jata h phir bhi.... Leken below 5.5 nahi tikta.... Caratlane ka review mere paas sahi h bcs i have bought a diamond ring gor men which is 7gm. Appx.

Nice video!! But would like to correct you on one thing - you do get diamond jewellery with 22K gold. Most of 22k diamond jewellery is available in the South of India only. They come in closed setting.
Open setting diamond jewellery are 18k or 14k gold.

When you return or exchange the gold jewellery n specially in mangalsutra black stone + making charges and gst include nahi hota...to jab return karte hai to ap loss me rhete hai so mangalsutra is not for investment its only feeling or emotion

I bought a Diamond set from Tanishq,,,, even after 3 years,, when I wanted to exchange it,,, Tanshq did not give even the cost price at which I bought it for! When I went to buy,, they made tall claims saying Tanishq diamonds are best etc, etc. I will never buy diamond from Tanshq again.

When i buy something more than 20-21k i buy it from mia. I only buy small delicate pendants,rings, earrings from caratlane that are around 4k-19k. There's no good exchange policy in caratlane nor bluestone. So i only buy those low budget daily wear or low investment items from caratlane that i will not exchange. And i only buy those designs that are timeless and i will like forever. For 22k gold and bigger purchases i would obviously go to bigger shops like malabar,tanishq,senco, pc chandra etc

I think it’s your activity and hand actions that are causing the problem, not a manufacturing defect or poor quality of the bluestone jewelry.
90% of my golds are from Malabar and few from Senco and local shop....it was my plan to buy 1st time from caratlane , thanks for this info❤

These linked jewellery pieces never last long no matter from whom you buy. Same thing happened with me. I bought a mutter bracelet from Jos Alukkas back in 2013 with my wedding cash gift. With daily usage it lasted only 5 months or so. Later I wore it occassionally but one string in a link broke. I decided not to get it repaired and rather get it exchanged in Caratlane. I had been to CL yesterday and have asked them to get a 14 carat rose gold flexible solid(no strings) bracelet. I have bought a 18 carat diamond earrings from them but luckily they are doing good with regular usage even after 8 months. Rodium polish is intact and diamond are very shiny too...
But the making charges you showed is just insane..
Not like that .. I have made a linked bracelet, hand made .. it lasted 4 years and is still going ... the problem is that the ready-made items link are very weak.

I bought 24carat hallmark from local jweller in my town. 24carat gold you can make jewellery but it changes shape quickly specially rings.
U can't make any jewellery using 24k.

Do check bcoz usually it's 18 carat. And clear stone which look like diamond n color stones are not diamond are used as 22ct. Specially Malabar & other South Indian brand say it's American diamond but resell value is zero.
Regularly gift my girlfriend from caratlane and blue stone but nothing serious just an additional accessories like pendant small rings

I trust Tanishq only for gold pricjase whether it's 22 18 or 14 carat..they have very genuine gold products and return exchange policies are very very customer friendly..been a customer past 15yrs and have never had a single complaint..infact once I bought a bracelet worth 1lakh.I wire it for 15days but the design was as such that it became loose .I raised a complaint and they took some time for I got full refund of gold amount ..no deduction on making charges but yes make sure ur case is genuine..I got a brand new bracelet for the same price amount..they value their customers and resolve all issues even if it takes time but u will surely get a solution...Mia is a subsidiary of tanishq and not partnership..caratlane is useless brand

People are giving such high making charges to brand jewellery stores but when they have to deal with local goldsmiths then they do bargaining.

Because stores like Tanishq provide you diamond certification while local stores sell K colour diamond saying its G colour without certification
