I keep watching seasons 1 through 3, over and over again. I haven’t seen any of season 4 yet. Frankly, I’m terrified to watch, because WE ALL know the story. It’s heartbreaking, and I cry just thinking about what actually happened. Has anyone noticed that on nearly every Good Friday, it gets bleak or overcast about 3:00pm, every year? Growing up, my mom asked us to be quiet in the house for an hour, from 3 to 4, every year on Good Friday. My heart!!! Thank YOU Jesus!!! Thank YOU for your sacrifice, and for LOVING us all, regardless of our sins. I can’t express the LOVE that I have for YOU Dear Lord. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Good Friday- Yes, I have. Even taking note of the change in the atmosphere and clouds- the feeling, for about 25 years. You're right. Everything gets dark & bleak. If you listen, you will notice that the birds go quiet. 🕊 🙏

The scene with the old shepherd is phenomenal. Not only the entire concept of him having purchased his children's debt, but the scene has an amazing degree of humor in it as well - Gaius' reactions are priceless as are Matthew's facial expressions. Matthew is fixated on the numbers and the shepherd goes on and on, Matthew has no idea what to think. It weaves that degree of humor with the most beautiful and touching and sad scene! WELL DONE by the writers and actors alike! Someday, Matthew will understand!

The chosen has absolutely helped me to realize what a beautiful faith I have. Sometimes I'm devastated the next time. I am laughing hysterically after that I'm crying my eyes out. I don't even know how to explain the joy that watching the chosen about our Savior has brought me. It is actually help me to understand more than I ever did from the Bible And the happiness that it brings me when I realize some thing I am reading that I have watched, actually seen played out, strengthens my faith. I don't know if that's right or wrong or good or bad I can only tell you that it brings me such joy, and a feeling of security. God bless you heavenly father must be so proud. I always have to wonder is Jesus watching episode seven and waiting for eight, lol I would have to say yes, that he probably gets as excited as we do. You have perfectly described my experience, too. I also want to add that The Chosen is the best fellowship I have experienced, been longing for among the body of Christ yet could never find it. For me, it is like the missing piece, and yes, The Chosen has made the Word come alive for me. It has humanized the experiences of the disciples, which has made me feel the most connected to Jesus than I have ever been before. Soon to be 73 years-old, I still believe everyone needs a daily diet of God's Word. I love my Lord with all my heart; soul, and mind...nothing less will do It was extremely painful to see you fighting the haters after the episode tonight. While I watched your sweet face trying to deal with the evil of this world proves that the end of this earth age is coming quickly. Because you're my brother in Christ, it cuts to my core. A statement in your comment is exactly why the chosen is not good. You state "full of followers of the show", what happened to followers of Jesus? This show has brought many Johnathan Roumie fans and the chosen fans. Jesus said "follow me". Not to mention the tons of money the show has made. Also there are non biblical, non Christian influences related to this show. It's amazing how Roumie sucks up to the pope during a visit with him and vice versa. The pope calls himself holy father, the Bible says not to call anyone father in that sense. Roumie also flaunts a skull ring and is seen in bars. When he prayed for the masses people were in awe more than they are when they read the words of Jesus in the Bible. Christians need to have discernment about what they listen to and who they follow. None of us perfect but we must look to God's Word for truth.

This was awesome! I love how Peter was very honest about his emotions! He knew who Jesus was, but at the same time he was angry that this pain hit his home, yet at the same time he felt guilty for having the emotion of anger. Love it!

Watching this series makes me understand that Jesus was human like everybody else. He was a badass, he enjoyed his disciples as friends, he cares about them. He has a good sense of humor. There's so many movies that shows Jesus as a boring type with a little bit of arrogance and depressive state. This is the one series that is authentic, honest and straightforward.

A statement in your comment is exactly why the chosen is not good. You state "full of followers of the show", what happened to followers of Jesus? This show has brought many Johnathan Roumie fans and the chosen fans. Jesus said "follow me". Not to mention the tons of money the show has made. Also there are non biblical, non Christian influences related to this show. It's amazing how Roumie sucks up to the pope during a visit with him and vice versa. The pope calls himself holy father, the Bible says not to call anyone father in that sense. Roumie also flaunts a skull ring and is seen in bars. When he prayed for the masses people were in awe more than they are when they read the words of Jesus in the Bible. Christians need to have discernment about what they listen to and who they follow. None of us perfect but we must look to God's Word for truth.
If any of u feel convicted about watching The Chosen or if u don’t think it’s ok to watch it or if you’re not sure if it’s ok to watch it then don’t watch it cuz it’s a sin if u do (Romans 14:14) (Romans 14:23). This applies to anything the Bible doesn’t say is a sin
But don’t judge anyone else for watching it and don’t tell them they shouldn’t watch it cuz that would be putting a stumbling block in front of them (Romans 14:13). This applies to anything the Bible doesn’t say is a sin
U also shouldn’t watch it in front of them or around them or let them see u watching it. And u shouldn’t talk about watching it or tell them u watch it if u can help it cuz that would also be putting a stumbling block in front of them and it would grieve them or offend them (Romans 14:15) (Romans 14:20-21). And that wouldn’t be walking in love and we’re supposed to do everything in love (Romans 14:15) (1 Corinthians 16:14). We need to keep the faith that we have between ourself and God (Romans 14:22). Romans 14:15 and Romans 14:22 apply to anything the Bible doesn’t say is a sin
This was awesome! I love how Peter was very honest about his emotions! He knew who Jesus was, but at the same time he was angry that this pain hit his home, yet at the same time he felt guilty for having the emotion of anger. Love it!

Watching this series makes me understand that Jesus was human like everybody else. He was a badass, he enjoyed his disciples as friends, he cares about them. He has a good sense of humor. There's so many movies that shows Jesus as a boring type with a little bit of arrogance and depressive state. This is the one series that is authentic, honest and straightforward.
