    The tip on looking for the cross in the early part of the pattern was super helpful. Thanks, this is a lovely pattern.

    I learned how to crochet yesterday after knitting for years! I have to make my girlfriend a beanie because she’s been asking me to knit her one for months but my 2nd crochet project will definitely be this! So excited :)

      Thank you! What millimeter hook did you use, a 4.00?

    • @Happymakesu
      @Happymakesu  2 года назад

      I used a 4mm hook! I tend to be more on the loose side when I crochet so I would hold up your work to whatever E-Reader you’re making it for to make sure it’s going to fit! That’s what I did when I was making it! Hopefully this helps! Let me know if you have any questions! 😊

    Love this pattern! I'd recommend making it more clear in the written pattern that there are 3 single crochets in the last stitch. It reads as only adding 2 stitches if you were to only use the written pattern.

      Thanks, I was wondering about that. 😅 As a beginner, it's not easy when the written pattern is different from what is shownnin the video as I still lack understanding of basic patterns and how everything works out with the stitch count. 😅

    Im making this slightly bigger so i can make a book sleeve for when I travel with my physical books, might make one for my kobo ereader afterwards even though I have a sleep cover case for it. I have this washed jean cotton yarn i got from a friend of mine so I am using that. I usually knit instead of crochet but it is going well so far

      Oh that is awesome about you making it bigger for a book sleeve! That is such a great idea! The washed jean cotton yarn is going to be perfect and look beautiful!! I am glad it is going well for you! I would love to see a picture once you're finished! 😊

    Hello! I just stumbled upon this tutorial and I’m about halfway through - so easy and quick! Quick question, how’s do i finish it when I’m done? I’ve never made anything in a round before. Thank you for the tutorial and pattern!

      Hi did you ever figure out how to finish it? I'm almost done with mine and didn't realize that she didn't explain. Unless I'm doing it wrong, its a bit uneven XD..

    Beautiful kindle case ! I definitely want to try this out. I am a little nervous since I haven’t done a crochet in the round before. I happen to have Hobby Lobby cotton yarn. Thanks again

      Thank you! Oh you are going to do great! Once you get started, I would hold it up to your kindle to make sure its going to fit. If you need to adjust the chain length, chain an odd number. I am sure it is going to turn out beautifully! 💙 I would love to see a picture when you finish it! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me! I would love to help! 😊

    Am i supposed to chain twice into the end of the stitch the whole project? or after the first two rows, do i stop and just chain all around until the end?

    • @Happymakesu
      @Happymakesu  2 года назад +1

      Its just the first round that you do two stitches in the last stitch! I hope this helps! 😊

    Is it 3 total sc in last stitch or 2?

    • @Happymakesu
      @Happymakesu  2 года назад +2

      It is a total of 3 sc in the last stitch. The 1st stitch you did when you started and the last 2 stitches working on the opposite side of the chain! I hope that helps! 😊
