Great video. So much taxpayer money has been spent on the short north area and arena district. Very little, if any, spent on Franklinton, the near East side and the South side. That, along with crime through the roof, will be this towns demise. Same Mayor and city council for years. All they have for the poor neighborhoods is lip service. Astonishing that they keep getting voted in.

Hi as a nurses aide I use to work all areas of Columbus doing home care, now I've had some surgeries and not working. If I was I don't think I'd work back down in the bottoms anymore even though there's still good people down there. But it's gotten worse down there for a woman alone driving getting out of your car. But I do miss working....
The first time I worked over mount Vernon Ave. scared me all these men line the street some coming up to your window trying to sell stuff not a good feeling...
Always something to complain about as humans. I live in Columbus and am soooo thankful for our road crews. if you travel and experience cities that have terrible road conditions, you will feel differently. I love how the bottoms is now called Franklinton if something good is associated with it but if someone gets gutted it’s still the bottoms. Cheers to cbus❤
