When I was still there some of the complexes near the airport were pretty "hood" and I would've felt uneasy walking around them even during the day.
I lived there when I was young. Our little blotter revealed that people were murdered on my street all the time. It was a long street, and I was on the better side of the street, but it made me uneasy. I’d have to walk to and from the bus stop because I didn’t have a car, and my neighborhood didn’t exactly feel safe. Thankfully the worst that happened was lots of cat calls , and one time a girl threw her soda at me from her car as she drove by. Now my neighbor blotter talks about small time theft and DUIs .

@@Polo-ql5ni people don't know bro let them talk they won't get it until they come and meet the people and see what their going through

I'll always love Ohio,my home.❤❤❤
Same.....even if I'm not there I'll always love Cincinnati and the rest of Ohio. I've only been to Cbus a couple times when I was young...
Looks better than the Nasty Nati (I'm sure it is) 513❣ to the rest of my homestate, #1 best in the country, I don't care what you think or say about it......
You’re cute
I grew up in Bexley. Never went into the lowly parts of Columbus.
fixpacifica lowly 😂😂😂😂
Lol Bexley is 5 minutes away from the hood. Just drive down broad Street a little bit lol
Bexley is where middle and upper class whites live. The nearest hoods are east side Columbus past the train tracks and Whitehall.
All you gotta do is pass Kroger and 🎉
@@TDKOALA1992 I honestly don't even remember making this comment last year. LOL. But yeah, when I was growing up in Bexley it was surrounded by the 'hood. I was visiting last year, and the area between Bexley and downtown has gotten pretty nice, though.
I went to Oakland few months ago, would like to see you do videos there. And how interesting. I've never seen a drive thru store before
charlie when are you coming to terre haute indiana?
Indiana doesn't deserve to be terre hauted
Ward T tf is terre haute Indiana don’t nobody wanna see a small ass town 🤣🤣🤣

Ah this is just Linden, there’s some good Caribbean spots over by there.
Any Bloods sets in Columbus?
Sterling Turner use to be in the late 90 and early 2000 gangs are dead in Columbus it’s slow

Home❤️❤️ My house is long gone but my heart is still on these streets. Linden Ave may be abandoned but a part of my soul will always live there❤️❤️
Go to hilltop and the west side next time . Maybe broad, sullivant and mound st. .. im on the north side tho this was nice to see . Edit: also southside like on parsons and lockbourne
I really HATE that strip mall Post Office branch at Taylor & Mount Vernon. HATE it. Fortunately it's not my branch anymore.
LOL... I've never seen the drive-through liquor store before, that's got to be the best idea I've ever seen or the worst.
WIFIGHOST CRUISER Ohio always had that. I thought they were everywhere until people would say that. It’s always been normal to us no matter what part of Ohio

Interesting 🤔
I thought everyone had drive thru’s
Homes don't look that bad, some lawns need cutting. It's the boarded up stores and businesses that concern me.
I grew up in german village and it was ghetto af. Then I got smart and moved to meridian idaho. It's such a nice and awesome place!
It doesn't look like a hood but a normal city
@Land Legion why ? It doesn't look rough
it is a normal city but the people in it are terrible. looks can be deceiving. just because an area is rundown doesnt mean its bad. like dude said cali has nice ass cribs and trees that are in the hood
Yall not from here and this is not the hood 😂 i live in columbus
Julien Bee it look pretty grimy to me and I’m a trench baby
Julien Bee Columbus is not hood I live in col for 20 years
you were in crip territory north columbus
Where exactly?
Is this the hilltop?
The Dude no
That's the north east side, Still raggedy after all these years
Hi Charlie, can you "drive" into detroit downtown? :)
Best thing that came from Cleveland is Bone Thugs n Harmony! MGK who? Eminem destroyed his career
@Dawayne Allen he really did tho 😂
Yeah, if you like ear rape and audio feces. Idiots who can't sing or play a musical instrument and think a chord if something you close the drapes with. Idiots that don't even have the brains to pick words out of a rhyming dictionary and put them together coherently. Contributors to ignorance and stupidity. Show me somebody that thinks the rap is music and I'll show you a numbnut that's either going to die on the street or in prison. You're being used by the powers-that-be and you don't even know it, rap is even a better way to keep people stupid than drugs.
WIFIGHOST CRUISER whoa calm down! It’s not that important, it’s a RUclips comment
@@wifighostcruiser9665 a rapper stole your girl..so what ,don't blame the genre for her being a groupie 😂😂
@@wifighostcruiser9665 😂 I bet daddy wouldn't let you listen to that "violant boom boom music" so you got bullied for listening to Taylor swift and madonna 😂 now you just stick to one direction and Elton John

Columbus, Ohio doesn’t look that bad. Plus, Ohio State University it’s in Columbus. It’s doesn’t look like there is a lot of blight in the city. At 4:27 lol haha 😂
JXLVII Yes! Haha
Darkskin Dinero Makes sense. I was just going off the title of the video. Yeah, I do agree with you. It’s an mentality about the people who live there.
Darkskin Dinero You didn’t misjudged my comment. Just trying to relate with you lol
Puppy Cuteness campus area look the same lol the campus is near the hood the short north
614 all day baby. Born and raised

what do you mean by saying terre hauted?
It was a joke, I was making fun of that city name.
U should do hood videos in Massachusetts , like Holyoke Ma or Springfield Ma.
This is columbus? Holy moses, I was there 20 years ago visiting and that place was naice. It was almost hard to believe how nice it was considering ohio has places like CINCINNATI (good lord) and its between west virginia(which i like) and Pittsburgh!
I live in Las Vegas but I was born and raised in this same neighborhood South Linden is my home!
Its still bad around Columbus but the late 90s 2000s were way worse
Columbus is taking back the inner city, Lots of low income & section 8 people were moved to Canal, Lancaster, Reyoldsburg & such away from the city, downtown is completely different now much safer in the heart of the city.
You want the hood of Cbus? Hit the South Side, down off Livingston, Whittier, Parsons, Thurman, Frebis, Ohio, Wilson. My neighborhood. You won't be disappointed. Some nights it reminds me of the 313.
This was recorded on 2017/03/04 @4:30 of the video.
It was recorded yesterday, the time is not set.
Not as bad as Toledo , go drive down north Detroit avenue in Toledo that’s the hood
especially going too Trevitt 😭 yuuuh that’s the hood buu born and raised in Columbus 🤍🤞🏾.
Come to the west side man
Why the fuck would you tell anyone to come to the west side? It's a goddamn Haven for fucking subhuman zombies.
I'm from Columbus. There's a fuckin million drive thrus. Even In the suburbs.

“ Columbus not the bad “ 😂😂 ikyfl made a mistake by not going to the west & East side
Charlirbo I'mma try and donate. I wanna see you come to my town. Vegas
Born and raised here. This is nothing compared to other area's across the states. Some areas worse than orhers...but basically pretty safe here.
My grandma lives in sum projects that are red and brick. They are lined up. Does anybody know wgat they are called ? There is a basketball court around too.
You should have went downtown then drove straight down west broad till you got to georgesville rd, took georgesville to sullivant and take that to the bottoms..people wouldn't believe what they would be seeing
Parts of this really show how run down some areas are.
Home of the city's most famous rapper, Bow Wow.

@@hazeleyes611According to wiki (take with a grain of salt) He spent the 5th, 6th, and 7th grades in Reynoldsburg. He definitely was born in Columbus though. All Reynoldsburg is it's just a suburb of Columbus anyway.
