- A 39-year-old woman and her 21-year-old son were taken into custody Wednesday morning after deputies at the Justice Center found two guns and ammunition in a bag they brought in.
The 21 years old told the cops he had gun before they even knew.
he also says he can hear aliens talking.

Am I missing something?? Somebody walked in with weapons, the metal detectors did their job, persons arrested and weapons confiscated, carry on. Why do I need to know if I’m in the fourth floor and they caught someone at the initial entry point, sounds like job done properly. Complaining about nothing
They were trying to get police protection and they went to the court house with the guns so that the cops would arrest them. They're afraid of someone attacking them on the street.

Those two people interviewed in the video, we don't know what they were told. I imagine the reporter went up to them and said, "Authorities arrested two people carrying guns inside the building. Do you think you should have been notified? what are your thoughts?"
Leaving out all the pertinent details: two people were arrested, only one was carrying the guns, and they were discovered in a backpack when it went through the metal detector. Yes, they were inside the building, but they and the guns didn't get past the inner lobby.
Well there was almost a story there... Now I remember why I don't watch the local news anymore!
Yet a Chicago judge drops his revolver in the hall way and three days later charged. How ever the judges charges were dismissed.

So basically they took the risk because that place felt safe for them rather than being a victim of a drive by.

I think its crazy how they left the part out where he talks about waiting for a female officer, but also feeling a need to not hold up the line. In the bodycam footage he states that he knew it he was supposed to let someone know.
They just straight demonized this guy. He probably trusted that they would understand. In all honesty if i felt that i was unable to communicate with a cop before approaching the scanners my thoughts i would think 2 things.
1: the longer i stand here holding a duffle bag looking suspicious i run the risk of someone thinking i was trying to be deceptive.
2. Even though id rather talk to someone 1st, i would assume that if i calmly go through and let the officer know at the checkpoint then i could explain.

I’ve watched the body cam, the guy and his mother were being chased and in fear for their lives. And the jury refuses to indict them so yeah their no longer in jail. They thought it was a safe place and now the media and department want to make it a big deal.

The point is, you don't get jail time just because you have a fake muzzle device that looks like a suppressor. it is not illegal to bring a gun into a government building. the second amendment allows that specifically and makes sure that government cannot touch your firearm if there is no reason to. they cant jail you for having a legally owned weapon and they cannot take your weapon from you if no crime was committed.

So , if their relative gets sentenced, again, these two can force the Judge to change his judgement to 'not guilty' ; right? Why else bring TWO guns? What is legal and what is right are not always compatible. Do you consider it best to dis-arm people only AFTER they killed someone. or many?

Common sense is not common these days
they say you cant have guns in a courthouse. they also say you cant have press. we have established that recording in a courthouse is press. public officials violating the right to free press. if you can bring a camera into a courthouse and it be free press then you are definitely allowed to exercise your second amendment right on government property.
Only common sense is that the sun will rise in the morning. Laws made by random men will never be common knowledge. You know cuz everybody spends 12 years in school NOT learning the law
That lady they interviewed is insane. Saying she doesn’t feel safe. Why not. They found the guns, stopped the issue, without anyone else even knowing. That’s a great job. On behalf of the people who brought the guns in something missing. The guy put the bag in the X-ray machine like no big deal. He’s either extremely scared of something, or mentally ill. We’ll never know.
