Lol this should give the game life again an if so these guys need to be brought in or even go down the route of defiance back when it first was released
I know that it makes zero sense for BioWare & EA to continue with the existing dumpster fire of a game, as it would be a waste of resources and money. Gamers are becoming much too fickle, and no matter how many people were to give Anthem a 2nd or 3rd chance, there are FAR too many awesome games from Developers that didn't mislead and take advantage of customers. That said, I'm glad the setting, story, and the lore are being used. There is so much promise if clear vision
The story of how "A live action *glimpse* into the relatively large world of Anthem" became the only piece of compelling content produced by the property.
Can we just give the rights to Anthem to Oats and have them make it into a full movie franchise, please? The game was garbage, but it would make a great movie.
@@IllyrianStrength I really dont know what more Microsoft or EA want from him before they just let him make a Halo or Anthem film. He's shown with both that he has the talent and cares about the subject matter to do it well.
Dude wtf.... This amazing studio and BioWare are an amazing set of people to work on a game and create an unimaginable atmosphere. Down right screw EA... I Love you OATS!!!!
@Bryanmiester kotaku.com/how-biowares-anthem-went-wrong-1833731964 And bioware responded to it WITHIN MINUTES after publishing blog.bioware.com/2019/04/02/anthem-game-development/
I REAAAAALLLY want a full blown short film (or feature film even) of this thing. There's so much interesting stuff in those three minutes I would love to see explored further!
Well, if EA worked as well as you did. But, no, it's not. We've got an awesome trailer(film) and a shitty game. It would be better if all the money that was spent on the game were given to you and you would have thrown away a full-length film. Don't throw down the RUclips channel, it'd be great to see what you're working on.
I'd rather call it an incomplete game than a shitty game. I mean "shitty" is correct especially now that it was abandoned, but I'd say "incomplete" is more descriptive. After all, what was there was a good base with a ton of potential, it was just lacking finish and actual care into wrapping it up to a complete good package. Well, at least I genuinely loved the verticality, the look of the world, the Javelins themselves, the movement and flow of dashing, flying, abilities, melee and firearms that could be chained together very fluidly. Though sure the combat could've been tweaked to feel more weighty and impactful. Had there been a dev team who gave a shit about lifting that premise to greatness, I think we would've gotten a pretty damn good game. But that's a lot of if's. So in the end, yes, it was nothing short of a disappointment and a kick in the groin that they never delivered on any promise they strung people along with for ages.
It's a real shame the game didn't live up to expectations. The world is pretty compelling and clearly makes for a great story. It'd be cool if we could get a movie or even a mini series to really flesh out this world because this was awesome.
Oats Studios outdid themselves with the trailer for this video game, It truly outshined the game itself in just story and incredible cinematography. I really hoped they could had done a full movie of it instead of the disappointing game that it came out off.
Its so interesting how even such a short film this is the amount of effort they put in is amazing i hope every artist keeps doing well in these fields because this is pretty cool
The world they created is amazing, the game has a tons of potential. The fact that they managed to build the game in 1 year is unreal. The talent is at bioware and EA, the issue they have is management. The people at the top are single-handedly running that company into the ground.
The amount of talent in this gang is off the charts, and they're all extremely professional and at the same time loving the job. This is how the world should work, if everybody loved their work the world would be such a better place. This said, I know it's improbable if not impossible, but I keep wishing this will one day be a movie. ☠️🖤OatsStudios🖤☠️
Incrível, Já é um de meus filmes favoritos sem mesmo nem ter assistido ainda hehe, ancioso para ver este grande trabalho de vocês para nós fãs de anthem
Hoping Oats Studios does a feature length film one day. Your shorts on the channel are absolutely on an entirely new level. ADAM could be an epic movie for example, just phenomenal work
Anyone else coming back to this when the game got good to how it should have been and still wish this was a movie just so we could learn more of the story of Anthem, or is it just me?
Man, I hope they continue to work on this game. I really liked it, despite all the damn infuriating bugs. Been playing, on and off, mostly off, since launch and I started playing more recently in hopes of the cataclysm event being good and fixing things. Strong alone...
The root of the game makes one hell of a story. Yes there was issues with the game put when you get passed the hardship of how the game should play and enjoy the beautiful storyline it has to offer. At the core of it all it is a damn good story. there's no one better than Oats studio's to make a movie out of this wonderful storyline.
Imagine if the hunt the truth writer write a script, Neil shoots the live action master and then blur, who did the halo 2 anniversary and halo wars 2 cutscenes, does the vfx passes over the footage. That would be perfect.
sadly the game will never come close to this awsom trailer
So True.
Yeah it was hot trash but I’d watch the shit out of this movie
@@bleepdupdupbloop6777 True true. This was so damn purdy, as Oats' stuff always is. Game was just horrific...thankfully only paid $15.

plus all the actors said they wished it was longer :)
This was better than the game
So true
movie would be even better
By far the best thing about anthem.
Oats = Maximum effort
EA/BioWare = Minimum effort
EA and BioWare management should be a shame and learn from Oats hard work.
lol fuken BioWare
I guess this is just what BioWare does now... until they get shut down anyways.
Bioware management maybe to blame. The people working crunch for 9 month like crazy are not.
Peter Pain ah shoot forgot about them, amended
All this hard work and creativity wasted on a half arsed game.

It sucks that Oats had their wonderful name attached to a garbage game
thatbratshinji shut up shinji, at least you have an Eva, we don’t even get exoskeletons
The World and IP involved in Anthem are fine and are worth exploring/expanding. The game though... Needs at least 18-20 months still.
@Writer B.L. Alley I guess Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3 and 4 are bad...

Well. They gettin paid, had fun exploring new narative with given budget. I think its a win win for them..

When the live trailer is better than the game.
that's basically accurate for 90% of games
