there are so many things I will need to see in madden 24 to make it worth it for me. top on my list are receivers actually being able to catch the ball in a tight window without the DB getting some stupid physics defying catch knockout animation, defensive lineman actually having the ability to attempt stunts and rush in the direction you want them to instead of just going head up on the lineman all the time and QB's not having their throwing animations slowed down based on how far they are throwing the ball. The throwing animation slowing in particular is infuriating because it literally defies physics. You don't wind up and throw in slow motion and then suddenly have the ball jump out of your hands, if anything you wind up and throw faster as you are throwing deeper because you need more power on the ball! its a shame EA doesn't know this!
offense is so easy
the already catch it in tight windows. offense is pretty easy.

Not gonna lie using realistic sliders make the game way smoother

As a Franchise exclusive player myself, my biggest wants are the ability to have a “Compare” option for free agents and draft prospects where you can see them side by side instead of constantly going back and forth, and also when you trade for a player you can’t tell if he is interested in your team until he is on your team then….too late 😅

I want a drastic improvement to the draft class edit system similar to nba 2k
Well I know that on the scouts I want to know if they are aggressive or not because there been multiple seasons where I get 55% scouted and that’s it
I want more immersion overall like they should do a post-game talk show where they discuss players’ progress throughout the season like in real life
I want to get more trade slots like 5-10 slots.
No excuses anymore of them not fixing the horrifying Face options on franchise of 80 year old convicts, crack heads and circus characters with melting skin. It’s the craziest thing I’ve seen in any next Gen game in the industry.

By far my biggest pet peeve, we can’t we move to back in the day where they had real faces, just put more faces and the option to change them.. better yet it’s 2023, why can’t i upload my picture in the game so i can put myself in?? Lol
@@jaybones8212 - definitely, we’ve been able to customize faces, avatars in games for the last 2 decades. Hair, facial hair, tattoos, etc. But for some bizarre reason this is too much for EA Sports in 2023, a 32 billion dollar company.

Bro this is EA there's a reason why they've continued to have one of the worst reputations amongst the entire gaming community don't fall for it. EA is not going to fix this game Im telling you now. They're just gonna release some info about how they brought in so called NEW features which are just returning features with new names and market it as new. Hell they literally said that M23 was gonna be less buggy and look how that turned out.
I feel like EA is just blowing smoke by saying it’s make or break. They are just saying that to make it seem like they care and what’s worse is that the people who’s jobs are in jeopardy are probably the little guys that just do what their told none of the higher ups care they’ll get money either way. If madden 24 fails they’ll get rid of normal workers and just bring more right back into the same issues

It’s on the same engine so we have to hope the depth of customization and the game modes makes up for scripted gameplay
The college game should be fire before they discontinued them they were pretty good all I played honestly I think it’s just the college atmosphere that makes it fun

@@jamesbrooks4125yeah we gotta get rid of Charles Davis and branden godden whatever his name is , maybe change the sound of the audibles for some of the QBs , make the halftime break a little more interesting and show the best plays of the 1st and 2nd quarter and show it like a cinematic, idk they could make it better

As a Pc player…all I want is updated equipment and features. The ability to wear the number 0. And the axiom helmets and I’ll be happy. This is how bad Madden and EA have treated me. Barely any changes makes me happy

Madden 24 is dead bruh. No one is really hype for Madden anymore. I only come here just to see by chance if EA releases something decent. It won’t matter how many versions come out. Same developer means same issues.
CAN THEY ADD THE PHYSICS ENGINE BACK WHY IS THAT NOT A THING IN A FOOTBALL GAME?
Because they are using an engine designed for real time strategy war games where you aren't really paying attention to the 1 v 1 aspect of it. That's why the game is based off of getting the right animation to trigger, rather than your player actually making a play.
It wasn't designed to be a sports engine, and it clearly shows.
Madden 24 needs to bring back Create your own Team,Player,Uniform and Stadium....Also need to bring back the AFC vs NFC
imagine if you can change the divisions like you can in 2k during preseason

I'll still buy Madden 24...but...when NCAA Football comes out then Madden will collect dust in my collection. I'm still very interested in the 2K NFL game too, Madden is much the same each year, but NFL 2K always hit different.
From what I've seen the next gen console's will have cross play but not previous gen. I believe it was a tweet from EA that mentions that PC will be cross play along side the PS5 and Xbox next gen console.
I also have seen that PC is part of the Madden 24 closed beta which it has not been the past 2yrs. This is another good sign that the PC will be next gen for Madden 24
I mean it makes sense it's been for years for the new gen so why keep doing things for the old outdated systems it makes 0 sense

There needs to be a speed cap on defensive players in MUT. It’s already bad enough they nerfed Escape Artist and made it an X Factor but it’s even worse that there are high 90 speed DT and DEs that can chase down Vick and Lamar with 99 speed. Oline blocking needs an improvement, the way LT and RT can’t block ends, especially with abilities is as bad as I’ve seen it. The DB reactions to corner routes need to fixed also, along with when defending Gun Tight in man coverage, DBs have to stop running into each other

What makes me mad is the fact that PC does not get all the cool things with the new gen consoles like the updated player model and such it makes no sense why PC shouldn't get these things considering how pc is a constant and can't really become outdated.
The ppl expecting old gen getting new gen features shows that those ppl are younger ppl who never experienced a next Gen jump.
I think I'm finally done with Madden. The last 2 were horrible and EA has gotten into a rut where they release the game broken and fix it with patches that make it playable, months after it is released. I'm done wasting my money.
And the patches come so late each year, stupid
I only expect so much gameplay wise but it would be so easy for them to put some life in the stadiums presentations and the franchise mode they need love if they wanna keep players coming back

Because RTTS before 21 was good with the first being a showcase draft with your potential starting at a C or B and will change the base of how well you do. And then you get drafted and if you don't like your pick you can go to college. And back on PS2 days of RTTS like MLB 10 you can even start as an 45 year old
If they are seriously not going to consider PC as next Gen, then screw them. A lot of PCs are on part or better than next Gen, and if EA, 2K, San Diego Studios and others can't see that, there screw them.

As this point it’s not worth buying any new game using old consoles(ps4) like me.
Good lord this video could be recapped in 45 seconds, but you manage to make it a big nothing burger for 10 minutes.
I wish they would take some elements from the older maddens (04-08) the gameplay, features, and control of players were amazing. Now the game feels janky slow and scripted.. we don’t even need graphics if you can just make the game fun to play.

I gave up on Madden at 19, that was the last one i ever bought, ever since then i have played the 10hr trial every year and every year i have said "nope not worth the money"
The game has become stale and nothing excites me, sports games like MLB and NBA 2K offer so much more

Hmm yeah we need wayyyy more likeness updates . And yes , even lower rating players . Not just popular ones . And they need to let us customize franchise with legend players , not just MUT. Customizable equipment would be dope . And add the uniform turtleneck feature .

I seriously don't understand why PC isn't getting the current gen updates and gameplay stuff. As someone who only plays PC and doesn't have a console its really frustrating...
As someone who has been playing Madden since the early '90s, I have to question the intelligence of anyone thinking that the latest version of the game will be ported to the older gaming consoles. Of course there will be player and coach updates reflecting the current team rosters, but expecting all of the latest features and graphics on older hardware is ludicrous! The fact is that every generation of Madden that has seen improvements in graphics and playability has required a corresponding increase in hardware performance to run properly. As developers increase the realism of gameplay more processing power (both GPU and CPU) and additional RAM is required. It's physically impossible for software engineers to replicate the experience of the latest version of the game on older and soon to be obsolete hardware. This always has been, and always will be, a fact of life.
So will people with old gen consoles even be able to play maddden no more?
I just want to see exactly what commissioners edit in franchise mode

I don't even think its worth it to get 24 because I have a Xbox one and I'm not gonna spend like $600 for series x or s. Well first of alk I'm 10 years old and I can't afford that. and they will stilllllll have half the stuff they have had the last 4 years in it.... i get that its easy and faster to convert things over and save time, if they are not broken things, but its the lil things that bother me...... like when u go to season awards to check out who are some of the leaders in certain awards during the season, unless u know who the player is... it doesnt show their position anywhere... i was on the Afc offensive rookie of the year list... and nooooo where does it show the position of the player
ohh one more thing.. when u go to a players stats page, year by year, why does it not have career totals at the bottom, can they not add in the tool to update that as their careers go, speaking of stats, anyone notice that when u go to free agency like during the season, click on manage roster down to free agency, click on a player and click on player card, shows no career stats, like whyyy ?
i played madden 11 awhile back just for fun.. and it had way more options to do things.. heck u can go to league schedule click on any game on the schedule and watch it just like that... u didnt even have to be user controlling the teams,
this game has sooo many bugs in it.. i wonder if madden even knows.. like ok another example..... when u do super sim plays.. where u just sim plays and watch the progress on the field..... if u click on simulate next play, on say normal speed, and it ends the first half, then u back out to go to maybe pick a play or do something... the 2nd half will continue right off were the first half ended, it happened to me one time... it was like 2nd and 5 eight seconds left in the first half, i simulated the last play, then i back out of the supersim section and it was 3rd and i think 2 after a short run..... and we were on the other teams 40 yard line, 15:00 to go in the 3rd, i was like whhhhhat ?? where was halftime or the kickoff loll

I obviously understand the oldgen/lastgen migrations, and why they just don't bother with them anymore, but I will say, I still use my nintendo Wii and PS3 all the time. The games are just as good if not better sometimes.
yeah.. as i've gotten older and only play sports games basically i cant keep up with the new systems. so I got a little gaming PC. it isn't the best but it works. now i should be good to go

I only have a PC as my gaming system i don’t currently have a console so it’s been so annoying that they haven’t been including PC with current gen. It makes no sense like my PC is beyond good enough to run next gen madden but EA just considered it last gen in the past cause they’re stupid

I have a xbox one and i know they wont do many changes to our gameplay but i think its stupid that they do that because what if people cant afford next gen and they love madden. When they stop making madden available for older gen they will just have to play old ones and that gets boring because on older gens even on all madden its to easy and people try to make it difficult they still blow them out of the water 65-14

I can’t trust EA right now to me I don’t feel Madden will ever get better until they get more competition. The make or break year that they are talking about should have happened years ago. They can’t just fix everything in Madden in a year. They gotta prove me that they are taking steps in the right direction this year.
