I went "natural" for 7 months about 6 years ago. I learned a lot about my hair but became so tired of the maintenance and the overly priced natural hair marketed products. Long story short... my relaxed hair has been long thick and beautiful for years. It will probably be better if I didn't self relax (I don't trust salons) and if I slept on satin or silk. Learn your hair ladies. Relaxers aren't the devil!
I'm texlaxed and I'm very specific with what I want the wave in my hair to look like which I don't think a stylist would be able to achieve without messing it up, so going to a salon is a no go for me.
I feel the same. Am also texlaxed and prefer that to being bone straight. I also do my own touch ups at home. All is well and my hair is thick and strong.
cassiemichelle03 I agree. I am also textlaxed, but I am afraid a salon will over process it and then my hair will be straight. I use Olaplex in addition to my Just for Me texturizer. it helps greatly with hair strength
Would you recommend telaxing? I went natural and couldn't handle it, so went back to the relaxer, but I am finding myself annoyed with it and mostly wearing box braids. Uni and stress has given me some breakage and I have never had it before. I am too nervous to cut my hair because it is already long, so how would I go about telaxing...?
I love that for you!!!! I just uploaded a video talking about my current hair struggles and im hosting a giveaway to help women achieve their hair goals! GIVEAWAY ruclips.net/video/EmOOChfQ9Cs/видео.html you should enter to win!!

Hello Jazzie, I'm a new subscriber and I just wanted to say I really like your videos. They are informative and you know what you are talking about. Even though I'm a natural gal I would totally recommend you to people I know with relaxers. I too agree that relaxed women can have healthy hair. Keep doing what you do boo 🤗
+Desma Brewer Hey Desma, thanks for subscribing to my channel!!! I appreciate you for taking the time out to watch my video even though your natural. Thanks for watching! Please share with your family and friends they might enjoy it as well. Also make sure your subscribed to my channel because I WILL be uploading more videos for relaxed hair & healthy hair overall!
I had a great experience at a salon but yeah $120 for the relaxer and semi permanent color when I was in college 🤑 I always did my own relaxers after but I had multiple setbacks so stylists are better I think
Exactly just think about trimming more often it would be way less oppose to doing it at one time. I have learned from experience, Plus I love my dustings now. I couldn't imagine life without them lol. Thanks for watching
I trim my ends once or twice a year and it's never more than half an inch. I think trimming is based on how well someone takes care of their hair and how often the may use protective styles. I personally use protective styles and I aim to use my blow dryer every two months or longer, and that's only when I have A LOT of new growth and I have to tame it before I go back into a protective style.
i got thick relaxed hair in a short pixie i gotta relax more often and get regular trims every relax day. wash and condition one a week and moisturize and seal twice a day. PS great video
+forever young YAY make sure you check out my healthy hair playlist ! And don't forget to share with your family and friends I'll be doing a 15k subscriber giveaway with 5 winners
U know what u are right I go to the shop only when it's time for a relaxer which is every 90 days I have alot of growth but end up having to get alot cut because I don't go often
I really have to perm my hair every two months the more i wait the more it sheds and breaks i tried to stretch it never works , i just Saturate my hair in a oil mixture the night before i get my perm that way the perm won’t over processed the already relaxed hair and my scalp is safe from burns
I understand everyone hair is different however when your using a chemical im pretty sure theres proper steps you HAVE to take. For example only applying the chemical to the virgin hair or idk maybe the applying time.
Jazzie Jae I’m going to check that video out right now , my hair has been really growing lately i haven’t had no set backs in a while , since i started perming every two months but ima try to stretch and see how it goes
I only let the salon put in my relaxers and strictly do a touch ups , i just over oil my hair to protect the already relaxed hair ,and kind of Neutralize the Harshness of the perm on my scalp and new growth
Love your vids, new subscriber here. I used to relax my hair every 4 times a year, but now I do it twice😊 and I used a straightener last month, and the last time I did that was 2016 june🙂😊
Went back relaxed about 6 months ago, and this video is definitely helpful, especially the part about getting a relaxer every 3 to 4 months. Just one question, how often did you wash it? I subscribed to your channel, looking forward to more vids, thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for subscribing to my channel boo be sure to check out my healthy hair playlist as I answer a ton of questions in those videos you might have especially on my haircare routine. I wash my hair once a week
Thanks for sharing im currently on salon relaxers only! But if i ever go back to drugstore relaxers i will look into it! I think im going to get the Japanese thermal reconditioning treatment you should look into it! Its way healther than a relaxer but also gets your hair bone straight
I have relaxed hair, and today I washed it and put in leave in conditioner. Then I blow dried it dry and flat ironed it and I came out like idek. I straightened a few parts around my face and they came out so nice, but then when I straightened the rest of my hair, it was like puffy and I don't really know how to explain it. I want it to be like how it is after I go to the salon snd get it relaxed, like hanging and where I can like flick it back, and it looks a bit thinner, but I don't know how.
It all starts with your blow drying process check out my healthy hair playlist to see how I blow dry my hair and the results I can achieve to see if my tips will help
I have a question, my relaxed hair is a good length and I wash every 2 weeks, but every 3 weeks or so little strandd starts to break off. what should I use or do to prevent that ?
You should try washing your hair more often. washing your hair give you the opportunity to get it stronger with protein treatments, deep conditioning treatments, hot oil treatments and more
Hi Jazz, I'm a new subbie girl. Love your videos. I am needing protective styles for my relaxed hair. I don't want to wear a weave or wig. Can you show some protective styles using your own hair?
My hairdresser told me that due to my texture I should not go more than 8 weeks without a relaxer. I'm gonna try 10 weeks max because I end up shedding due to both textures (4b/c)
+Zedmelia You should listen to your stylist ! I'm able to stretch mine with no problem because I have a fine grade of hair (3a) so I literally can wait until my new growth is about 4 inches and then relax without shedding or breakage. But if you do decide to stretch longer make sure your giving your hair a good protein to moisture balance ! To help prep it for the stretch to eliminate breakage
hi jazzie! im new to your channel. i do have a question. i am relaxed but years now ive been struggling with my hair and for some reason it wont grow pass shoulder length. my hair is probably like 5 1/2 to 6 inches long. i started my hair journey last yr nov. i go to the hair dresser for relax but when im not at the salon after relax i struggle to know what to do with it how to care it or even correct products to use. i really want my hair to grow and i dont think i have to strictly go back natural for that. please to help me. tell me products to use tell me hairstyles to wear etc...i want my journey to be successful
+oshin odecka hey Odshin! I can't tell you what products to use but I can tell you to make sure your reading the ingredients that are in the products. I use natural products on my hair. I do a treatment on my hair every week. I wash with cool water. I massage my scalp weekly. I wear protective styles that keep my hair off my shoulders. I can't tell you what to use but hopefully some of my videos can help you make your own regimen to have a healthy journey.
Is it true if you go more than 3-4 months without relaxer that your hair will break? I’m trying to stretch my relaxer because my hair is damaged and I want to give it a break to grow, I cut it, and wore it out for a month after I cut it and have been in protective styles for the past 3 months. I’m 6 months post relaxer. I keep hearing my hair will break for stretching it so long, is that true?
Check out my video on how to stretch your relaxer that will help you understand the proper way to stretch. When you first trying to stretch I recommend going an additional 2 weeks at a time until you've figured out how to maintain your new growth and keep it moisturized so it doesn't break at the line of demarcation, I get 2 relaxers a year now and 3 years ago I was getting them every 8 weeks my hair has grown so much, I didn't experience any breakage and I think its just a learning curve
You said that stretching your relaxer is helpful, but my problem is my hair is so thick that I do not know what hairstyles to do that will not damage my hair. I usually do buns or updo hairstyles which I know is hurting my hair since my edges are being pulled on 24/7. I don't know what to do anymore. Do you have any advice?
+Nichole T. Yes, I actually do I would suggest getting a good conditioner that will soften your new growth and also increase the time you sit under the hooded dryer for your deep treatment. And for hair styles you can refer back to my KeraCare hair styles Video as those are all great styles. Also when your stretching and you feel like it's getting too thick and becoming too much for you to handle. Do a protective style that you can leave up for 3-4 weeks without having to touch or do your hair. For me 2 months post relaxer usually is around the time I like to put my hair up into a sewin. I do full sewins and sometimes I will do one with minimal leave out. I don't work about my edges. But some good styles you could do if your not a sewin person is braids : box braids, feed in braids, goddess braids, crochet braids, but the key to any style while stretching is to make sure your hair is moisturized. If it's not your hair will snap and break especially during the summer months we need to hydrate our hair even more. Also, get yourself a good detangler. I suggest it's a 10, I know it's pricey but it works. I use 4-5 conditioners 1-2 oils when I do my deep treatments. I'm currently 5 weeks post relaxer and before I installed my sewin in my deep treatment I used 5 conditioners, my FayeRuth oil Blends growth oil, and coconut oil and sat under the dryer for 30 minutes. When I was braiding my hair the next day my scalp and hair was very moisturized. That's how I was able to braid my hair flat and easily. In my opinion it all starts with the treatments you do for your hair! Keep it moisturized ! I hope this helps
Hello! I've found your channel and found this to be great advice! I'd love to start to regimen...my relaxed hair is filled with dandruff (and itchy/burns) and damaged. It stopped growing a little passed my shoulders. Can you please offer me some assistance...?
+Christine ღ hey first I would suggest you watch my healthy hair playlist as those are some really helpful videos. Then, 1. How often do you trim your ends? Hair will not grow if it's not healthy 2. Do you give your hair what it needs? Moisture & protein ? 3. How do you wear your hair on s daily basis ? Having that length hair is very tricky because it runs against everything causing your ends to break. 4. What kind of products are you using in your hair? Do you know exactly what those ingredients are on the back of the products your using? 5. How often are you washing your hair that plays an important role in the health of your hair. These are a few things to evaluate when your trying to figure out why your hair isn't holding length because it is growing your just loosing the length after watching my healthy hair playlist and if you still have question email me pictures of your hair and scalp and I can better help you
Are clip ins considered a protective hairstyle? I don't get that, I thought it meant braids / wig / sew in? Also how often would you suggest to use a protective hairstyle?
Clip Ins are a ;protective style for me, they give my hair something to sit on this way its not rubbing against cotton clothes and it acts like a shield to natural environment elements. Braids and wigs are also great methods of protection I do those as well but the clip ins are the lowest maintenance out of them all to me
Hey I'm getting tired of my natural hair I'm it's too much work ...very tiring never know if I'm gonna have a dry or moisturized hair day....I don't know how to comb it i don't like most natural styles beside it takes a lot of work n I don't have much patience...help me someone please should I relax...texturize or do a dry curl? Cause I love curly hair
Not everyone can or should use a no-lye relaxer. I'm personally allergic to no-lye relaxers, like I lost hair and had scalp damage when a new stylist ignored my request to use a lye relaxer and used a no-lye relaxer. Not everyone can use no-lye relaxers. Otherwise, thanks for your tips.
I just started playing sports heavily, I sweat a lot in practice to the point where it super wet. How do I maintain a healthy lifestyle while having relaxed hair thats not sweated out. How do it still look nice if you are sweating a lot everyday while having relaxed hair. How do you maintain relaxed hair as an athlete?
Ive shared many times before i dont worry about this. I workout and wrap my hair every night i wash once a week. Be sure to check out my healthy hair playlist as i have many videos there where i have answered many commonly asked questions
Help I need advice 😭 my mom called my stylist, who we both trust very much, and told her I wanted a relaxer. The stylist gave many reasons as to why she refuses to give me one: I'm in a sport so my hair will sweat a lot (basically I would have to keep going to her), it's not that easy to take care of a relaxer, and girls my age (15) don't have the best record of taking care of relaxed hair. I've done my research as I always do before changing my hair. I know how hard it is to manage. I've already shown that I'm serious about taking care of my own hair as I have been doing it myself for the past 3 months with success. I want a relaxer not only because I like straight hair better on myself, but also so that my wash days and life in general with my hair can be easier. I don't want to go to a stylist all the time because it is too expensive in my eyes. My parents never complain about how expensive it would be when i went every two weeks, but I personally feel like it's too expensive. I already don't like asking my parents for money. Also, time with wash days is not an issue for me. I know you have to deep condition and do protein treatments a lot. I understand why she would not want to give me one. Her biggest reason is that I'm too young. I know I can prove her wrong and take care of it. It's not my fault so many girls in the past were lazy. Please help me. I'm so tired of dealing with my hair curly every week, because I wash my hair every week. Things would go by much faster if I had a relaxer.
+Rach Ess if that stylist doesn't want to give you a relaxer you have to let her know you will go somewhere else. I'm not too sure what else to tell you. I wouldn't recommend doing it at home yourself. Go to a professional to get a relaxer. But for her to tell you what she's not going to do sounds like she doesn't want money
Jazzie Jae She did tell my mom that she's not thinking about money here. She just doesn't want my hair to break off. She's known me since I was born and she's known my mom for maybe a year longer. The familiarity is there and I know she cares about me, but I know myself better. I know I can take care of it.
I honestly don't know, I would just talk to my mom and let her know if this is something your really interested in and maybe find someone else who could do it. At the end of the day its your hair and if your mom is in agreeance with what you want to do it shouldn't be an issue. Or you could wait until you get older if you want to continue to go to this particular lady
Jazzie Jae I called some other salons and found someone who I'm sure I can trust. She sounds like she knows what she's doing since she could answer all concerns I had and give me advice. She suggested that I come in and have a consultation with my mom and she'll see if she should do it or not. If she can, she said she'll gladly do it, but only if my mom is okay with it. Also thank you so much for your help 😊
Jazzie Jae thank you! How do you keep your hair bone straight?? I believe you said you only straighten your hair like twice a month. So what do you do after you wash??
does the climate have anything to do with maintaining healthy relaxed hair. for example.. is it possible that if you are in a cold country would your hair be better than that of a hot country...e.g trinidad
+Patrice Olivier climate has a lot to do with the hair. Cold climates dry the hair out. Warmer not so much but it is very damaging if not taken care of properly.
I deep condition and wash bi monthly and I hate that protein deep conditioners seem to make my hair break. When I tried a regular conditioner, my hair looked dull but didn't break as much. Idk what to do.
I suggest doing more treatments, like hot oil & deep conditioning treatments as well as protein treatments. There’s so many natural home remedies you can try to achieve the protein you need. I like using avocado, mayonnaise, banana, honey, yogurt. You can mix these together or a few together but those are really good as well as doing a black tea rinse. But I personally use my aphogee 2 step protein spray I like that a lot more less messy and my hair sheds a lot less. Also try adding vitamins in your diet. They help with strengthening the hair. I would also look into the shampoo you use. Is it sulfate free? Paraben free? When I do my deep treatments I use a masque that is hydrating and then I’ll add some type of oil on top of my masque sometimes 3-4 that’s why I sit under the hooded dryer for 45 minutes because when the hair shaft is penetrating the oils & moisture will be able to deposit into my scalp, then when I go to rinse my hair out I use cool water to lock in that moisture because your cuticle closes with cold water
Jazzie Jae Thanks for replying! I never thought of hot oil treatments. I'm actually deep conditioning right now. Should I follow up with hot oil? Also I thought a deep conditioner WAS protein treatment because both of my conditioners (ORS Replenishing Conditioner and Alphogee Keratin 2 minute Recontructor) have protein in them. I tried washing with sulfate free Shea Moisture JBCO Strength and Restore shampoo, but my hair still fills like I have a coating on it after, so I use a clarifying shampoo first, then the Shea Moisture shampoo the condition. I'll try the natural protein route to see how that goes. It's just frustrating because I know I need the protein since the protein bonds are broken but I notice the extra breakage only when I use it.
Yea tried being natural twice . Speaking after My mom permed my hair or whatever. But this is the longest I’ve went without a relaxer (2 years) and honey I can’t take it, too thick and coily, always dry uhuh
My parents had me go plead my case to my stylist and she finally agreed. She strongly recommended that I don't do it, but she agreed. She said some things that scared me tho. She said because my scalp isn't that healthy, I can get burned and have scalp sores then my hair will fall out. She also made it sound like my hair will melt off my head. She said sometimes the hair just falls out in the washing bowl and it's really sad and devastating. I still want to get it, but I'm not as confident with my decision anymore. I have two weeks until I can get it, so how can I prepare my hair so nothing disastrous happens?
Im glad your stylist agreed to do it for you, however some of the things she said is true but with proper care those things can be eliminated but not avoided all together. Overtime you get a relaxer or touch up (relaxer on the roots) you take the risk of your hair melting off because some relaxers don't use the best ingredients. My suggestions for you would be 1.Call your stylist and ask her what type of relaxer she plans on using on your hair find out the name and do your research from there find out the ingredients in the relaxer to see if she's using things that you feel comfortable putting in your head. All relaxers have chemicals in them however some have harsher chemicals than others. When doing your research look to see if it has "Lye" or "NO LYE" Thats very important. The next suggestion I could give is to try to eliminate scratching your scalp as much and just focus on patting your scalp. Do not get your hair & scalp wet 3 days before going to get it done. Now would be a great time to wash your hair one last time before you get the relaxer and let go of the heat. Wear french braids, buns, twists, any protective style that will give your hair a break before it undergoes this process. If you haven't washed your hair just yet I recommend doing a protein treatment because a relaxer breaks the bonds that makesup on our hair shaft. You can either purchase the Aphogee 2 step protein treatment, which I love and recommend or you can do an DIY protein treatment using household items like 1.Yogurt or 2. Avocado & honey or 3. Mayonnaise or 4. Black Tea Rinse these are just to name a few I suggest looking some up on google or youtube to find on you can do using products you already have at home or can easily get. As they are all great sources of adding protein into the hair shaft. When you get your relaxer done its very important you take the proper care afterwards. At night you want to make sure you wrap your hair around your head to retain length with a silk scarf or get silk pillow cases. Both items you can order online or go to a local fabric store and purchase. Because your hair will be straight you don't need to continuously add heat to it especially now that its summer time. I suggest finding a regimen and sticking to it. Me personally I wash my hair every week 2/4 times a month I use no heat and the other 2 times I will use heat on my hair to give it a good balance. Lastly I recommend adding a daily dietary supplement into your diet. To give your hair what it needs and to prevent it from breaking and to also make sure it stays the healthiest as possible. When looking for shampoos to use on your hair always go for sulfate free make sure you read the ingredients and familiarize yourself with what those big words mean! Because having relaxed hair is going to take a lot of work but its not impossible! Any chance you get you want to strengthen the hair u because getting a relaxer weakens the hair! You can always ask me for advice, I'm not a stylist nor do I have a liscens but I think I can direct you to the right path with some basic information on how to properly take care of your hair.
+Rasha Lancaster You have to do protein treatments and make sure your hair is well balanced from protein and moisture. Black tea. Rinse helps me eliminate shedding. But there's many other kinds
Rasha Lancaster You don't have to copy another person's regimen exactly, I suggest you wash your hair every week and deep condition every time you do so, nd from there monitor how far you can go, for me it's 10 weeks
Im a 16 your old boy i relaxed for 2 weeks im pretty good on taking care of it but after applying deep reconstructor my hair formed some curls and frizz its pissing me off
Hun im actually in the states, so I wouldn't know but I have a friend who once lived in Germany I believe her channel is Vanessa Somuayina she might be able to refer you to a good salon but I would try looking up Japanese thermal treatment as thats a chemical treatment similar to a relaxer but more popular overseas
um no, im a child of god, while your here check out some of my other videos and if you like my content be sure to subscribe as I upload multiple times a week
I do not take medication so I do not know, but I suggest you try it for yourself if your curious as its a dietary supplement. Please go to their website and ask them as its their product so they will be able to inform you better, be sure to subscribe to my channel

Nicole Fisher hi just wondering which boxed relaxer do you use? Because I don’t trust salons either!
Hey what relaxer u use ?
@@idi9526 use just for kids relaxers
Yip salon gave me third degree burns
My hair is healthy and relaxed without going to a licensed professional. I use Mizani Shea Butter Blend relaxer and I use it every 10wks❤️
Not everyone’s hair is the same though
Yea, I use the same relaxer and mine has been growing. Everyone can't afford to go to the salon...... and I do it every 9 weeks.
Thank you!
omg.! she reminds me of seven from bgc17
+Jamyah Lawrence good things come in 7

LivingForTheJoker999 Yes. I recommend it. :)
Same, you have a find a stylist you trust first. And with a texturiser I want it a certain way.
You remind me of Meghan from bad girls club lol especially when you said "kudos to you"
Ikrr

Hello Jazzie, I'm a new subscriber and I just wanted to say I really like your videos. They are informative and you know what you are talking about. Even though I'm a natural gal I would totally recommend you to people I know with relaxers. I too agree that relaxed women can have healthy hair. Keep doing what you do boo 🤗
+Desma Brewer Hey Desma, thanks for subscribing to my channel!!! I appreciate you for taking the time out to watch my video even though your natural. However I do like to make videos focusing on healthy hair although I am relaxed. A lot of the things I know I've learned from natural ladies like moknows hair and modernmrxhuxtable ! I will continue to make videos that can hopefully help a lot of women out and not only in the hair field make sure you stay tuned for more to come!!!!!!
Thanks for the video. It was such a big help for us relaxed girls.❤️ Now I can try something new with my hair to kept it healthy.
Thanks for watching! Please share with your family and friends they might enjoy it as well. Also make sure your subscribed to my channel because I WILL be uploading more videos for relaxed hair & healthy hair overall!
I will never get my hair relaxed by someone else. They charged me $120 and it was horrible.
Exactly I’m getting another chemical treatment now because relaxers don’t get my hair straight anymore. Check out my newest video
I had a great experience at a salon but yeah $120 for the relaxer and semi permanent color when I was in college 🤑 I always did my own relaxers after but I had multiple setbacks so stylists are better I think
I think trimming is a matter of the health of the ends. I used to go without trimming but got more than an inch cut off whenever I did.
Exactly just think about trimming more often it would be way less oppose to doing it at one time. I have learned from experience, Plus I love my dustings now. I couldn't imagine life without them lol. Thanks for watching
When I relax, I relax once or twice or year and that works for me and my favorite protective hairstyle is braids or a phony pony of some kind
I can't use no-lye relaxers. Dries my hair out terribly and makes it too straight. I'm a lye girl all the way.
I'm natural I really am getting bored of my hair. I want to get a relaxer but I'm so scared lol.
+Patricia Renee' no need to be scared you can have healthy relaxed hair
Jazzie Jae can you do a video on what you need (products) for relaxed hair
Patricia Renee' I've relaxed my hair since I was about seven and I have perfectly healthy hair! You just need to take care of it. 👍
You gon be more bored wih a relaxer you got no styles 2 do and ot just lays flat and boreing
same
Yes to no heat, and I keep my hair in a bun for my protective style
+LaQueen Nini that's a great style be sure to check out my keracare hair styles those are also good low manipulation styles
This makes me want to relax my hair! 😩
Lol what are you waiting for 😂
"Cotton is the devil!" - This couldn't be more true!!!!
I actually damaged my hair doing my own relaxer lol , learned my lesson.
+Watchvlogyup I think to some extent we all have lol I've burnt my hair off and I'm still recovering from that. Nothing major but I know what happened
love your videos, you have inspired me to want to show how i keep my relaxed hair healthy!
Very helpful! Btw when you say 'I sleep rough...' us Brits think you sleep on the street! 😂
LOL I mean tossing and turning continuously through the night
I love this everything that was mentioned is super true and I follow this and my hair has been going super healthy.
I'm so happy you found these tips helpful! Remember healthy hair grows!!!
I just relaxed my hair love your channel new sub!
+forever young YAY make sure you check out my healthy hair playlist ! And don't forget to share with your family and friends I'll be doing a 15k subscriber giveaway with 5 winners
your hair is gorgeous
Super informative! Thanks for sharing!! Your hair looks beautiful...
that is true, there is a big difference between relaxed hair in a salon compared to relaxed hair at home
U know what u are right I go to the shop only when it's time for a relaxer which is every 90 days I have alot of growth but end up having to get alot cut because I don't go often
Your beautiful and hair is healthy.
I really have to perm my hair every two months the more i wait the more it sheds and breaks i tried to stretch it never works , i just Saturate my hair in a oil mixture the night before i get my perm that way the perm won’t over processed the already relaxed hair and my scalp is safe from burns
You could only give an advice you shouldn’t try to dictate how people should do their perms everyone’s hair is different
I understand everyone hair is different however when your using a chemical im pretty sure theres proper steps you HAVE to take. For example only applying the chemical to the virgin hair or idk maybe the applying time.
In order to stretch your relaxer you have to know how to take care of it. I have a whole video on how to stretch your relaxer.
Yes sis your on a roll, I relax 3 times a year now! So proud of myself
"Cotton is the devil" 😂😈 You're so pretty btw
+Kora Roberts Thank you!!! Please share with your family and friends they might also enjoy my content
So many don'ts. This hair business is stressful
I use the mega growth no lye relaxer. It's the best I've used in years.
Thanks for sharing im currently on salon relaxers only! But if i ever go back to drugstore relaxers i will look into it! I think im going to get the Japanese thermal reconditioning treatment you should look into it! Its way healther than a relaxer but also gets your hair bone straight
Lol “well kudos to you”
When is a good time to wash after a relaxer ? And what does a wash day look like for relaxed hair especially if you have a dry scalp ?
1 week after a fresh relaxer
First time somebody actually helps me with this subject, thanks #Suscribed
Yeah I have to get a perm every 8 weeks my hair grows super fast.
I have a video up on how to stretch your relaxers as well
I have relaxed hair, and today I washed it and put in leave in conditioner.
@@JazzieJaeT Thank you!!

Thanks for tuning in!!!
really needed this.. :) great video btw!
+Kirsten Jones I'm happy you enjoyed the video and was able to take something from it ! Thanks for watching
I have a question, my relaxed hair is a good length and I wash every 2 weeks, but every 3 weeks or so little strandd starts to break off. what should I use or do to prevent that ?
You should try washing your hair more often. washing your hair give you the opportunity to get it stronger with protein treatments, deep conditioning treatments, hot oil treatments and more
She is right I used to use heat almost everyday and I started losing hair on my sides I have to wear braids to grow it back
Geeze, thats crazy! Im currently doing a giveaway you might be interested in check this video out ruclips.net/video/REyn67gQspA/видео.html
Hi Jazz, I'm a new subbie girl. Love your videos. I am needing protective styles for my relaxed hair. I don't want to wear a weave or wig. Can you show some protective styles using your own hair?
Thanks my dear.🤗🤗🤗
thank you so much for tuning in be sure to check out some of my other videos!! and be sure to subscribe if your enjoying my content!!!
Excellent Advice!! Thanks For The Share!!
+Donna Gambrell Thanks for watching be sure to subscribe to my channel as I upload twice a week on Monday and Thursdays !
I dont use heat at all when i have relaxer i just use protected hair styles if i want something different
Dang, im trying to get like you!
Zedmelia Try garlic supplements, they help with shedding. Make sure you add moisture to your hair to help it from drying...
Love your channel! 🌺
OMG THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCHHH! This just warmed my heart! Without your support I wouldn't be making this happen, you are appreciated
hi jazzie! im new to your channel. i do have a question. i am relaxed but years now ive been struggling with my hair and for some reason it wont grow pass shoulder length. my hair is probably like 5 1/2 to 6 inches long. i started my hair journey last yr nov. i go to the hair dresser for relax but when im not at the salon after relax i struggle to know what to do with it how to care it or even correct products to use. i really want my hair to grow and i dont think i have to strictly go back natural for that. please to help me. tell me products to use tell me hairstyles to wear etc...i want my journey to be successful
I can't tell you what to use but hopefully some of my videos can help you make your own regimen to have a healthy journey.
okay thank you. ill watch some more videos to understand on what to do.
Your tips are good nice
Thank you so much and I will make sure to do the things you mentioned above!
Is it bad to wear your hair down a few times a week? I always hear everyone say wear protective styles. Is wearing it down really damaging?
Yes because the natural elements depending on your hair!
These are a few things to evaluate when your trying to figure out why your hair isn't holding length because it is growing your just loosing the length after watching my healthy hair playlist and if you still have question email me pictures of your hair and scalp and I can better help you
I like your necklace but when I first saw the thumbnail I thought it was a laced piercing and I was like ouch but awesome video alot of good tips
Thank you! Yea its a necklace I got it off Aliexpress, be sure to subscribe to my channel I upload twice a week!
Braids and wigs are also great methods of protection I do those as well but the clip ins are the lowest maintenance out of them all to me
Jazzie Jae understood thank you! I'm trying to grow my hair and I prefer the look of clip ins!
Yes, me too its the most natural way for me. Plus you can still wrap your hair at night, just the best
I do all 2 but not going to shop often which was the third step
I relaxed my hair every 8 weeks because it starts changing real quick
Do you try to soften your new growth? Or wear protective styles and do your deep treatments?
Jazzie Jae not a lot I get very busy
Hey I'm getting tired of my natural hair I'm it's too much work ...very tiring never know if I'm gonna have a dry or moisturized hair day....I don't know how to comb it i don't like most natural styles beside it takes a lot of work n I don't have much patience...help me someone please should I relax...texturize or do a dry curl? Cause I love curly hair
+daniii daniii relax. I would say relax you hair but do it the right way. Go to a professional and kept it up.
Thank god someones still relaxed
Definitely
Not everyone can or should use a no-lye relaxer. I'm personally allergic to no-lye relaxers, like I lost hair and had scalp damage when a new stylist ignored my request to use a lye relaxer and used a no-lye relaxer. Not everyone can use no-lye relaxers. Otherwise, thanks for your tips.
Be sure to check out my most recent video, I’m hosting a giveaway with 3 winners and it’s still open!!!
This was so helpful. Thank you
I just started playing sports heavily, I sweat a lot in practice to the point where it super wet.
Jazzie Jae thank you for your input!
Hi new here. Please I want to know how to properly trim my hair and how to know when it needs a trim
You must seek professional, and check out my video on lunar trimming that will explain when to trim your hair for maximum hair growth
How often should I moisturizer my hair shampoo my hair condition my hair and detangle my hair??? I use texture softener instead.
+Cece Baker I am not a professional. You have to do what's best for your hair and figure out a routine for you. Personally I do mine every week
Hi Jazzie, Love the advice,,,I just subscribed
+carsh02008 Thank you for watching ! I'm really glad you enjoyed the content ! Please share
Jazzie Jae I don't know how my dad will see it, but my mom is already on her side 😒. Any advice for that?
Could u make a video on how to wrap long hair my neice try to wrap her hair but her hair won't do right wrapped since her hair is long
How soon after a relaxer would you wash your hair???? Thank you
I wash my hair once a week, like clock work unless I have a sewin installed
Jazzie Jae thank you! How do you keep your hair bone straight?? I believe you said you only straighten your hair like twice a month. So what do you do after you wash??
Do you leave your hair like this in the winter
I wear protective styles be sure to check out my previous videos as i have shared this before
does the climate have anything to do with maintaining healthy relaxed hair.
for example.. is it possible that if you are in a cold country would your hair be better than that of a hot country...e.g trinidad
+Patrice Olivier climate has a lot to do with the hair. Cold climates dry the hair out. Warmer not so much but it is very damaging if not taken care of properly.
Jazzie Jae thxs for replying. so once you take care of your hair it should be okay... love your videos i learn alot from it. keep progessing..
Have you looked into other chemical treatments like the Japanese thermal reconditioning treatment
Jazzie Jae no, but I will definitely research it and check it out. Thanks love
i cant wait 4 months. my hair is so nappy by then.
that's why you have to learn how to stretch our relaxer im currently 5 months post now
My parents had me go plead my case to my stylist and she finally agreed.
Jazzie Jae Thank you so much. I'll come back if I have any questions or concerns 😊 hopefully it goes well.
My hair sheds when I wait more than 6 weeks. What can I do for that ?
+Rasha Lancaster You have to do protein treatments and make sure your hair is well balanced from protein and moisture. Black tea. Rinse helps me eliminate shedding. But there's many other kinds
Rasha Lancaster try using the Aphogee 2 step treatment. It stops breakage and shedding immediately
Rasha Lancaster also try ORS Hair Mayonnaise
Rasha Lancaster You don't have to copy another person's regimen exactly, I suggest you wash your hair every week and deep condition every time you do so, nd from there monitor how far you can go, for me it's 10 weeks
I want to buy the phyto relaxer. Are you familiar with that brand?
+Monique T I'm not, I've only used Avalon products
Jazzie Jae Thank you
Please will you recommend this brand of shampoo and conditioner ,called PAUL MITCHELL for my hair, because thats what I have common around me
Please read the ingredients on the back to see if it’s good for your hair. Anything sulfate free paraben free is good
Jazzie Jae got it thanks
No problem.
Im a 16 your old boy i relaxed for 2 weeks im pretty good on taking care of it but after applying deep reconstructor my hair formed some curls and frizz its pissing me off

well I regret every time I relxer my hair at saloon may be different things work for different people.
Finding a salon is challenging but it’s important to have hair consultations before just settling with one place/person

Do you know any Salon in Germany who relax curly hair?
Hun im actually in the states, so I wouldn't know but I have a friend who once lived in Germany I believe her channel is Vanessa Somuayina she might be able to refer you to a good salon but I would try looking up Japanese thermal treatment as thats a chemical treatment similar to a relaxer but more popular overseas
