- We always enjoy going to church. It is such a great place to make new friends and meet such kind people. Grace had fun giving stickers to all of the kids, which made her lots of friends. Mom loved holding another Filipino baby.
After church, we said goodbye to Roberto and his wife, Vince, and Rita. They were so good to us at the Villa Peralta Inn. We drove to the airport through the beautiful green rice fields and coconut trees.
While we waited at the airport, JoeJoe and Dad had fun exercising while Mom tried some Pili nuts, which can only be found in the Bicol region. They tasted good. We flew safely home and returned to our stinky apartment.
The next morning, the kids had fun playing at the park and then Dad went shopping for groceries.

I hope before you go back to United States after a year out of the country, you go back to the Philippines one more time. Hurray to the Backman Family!!!
Pili nuts are a fad now among health buffs all over the world especially in the US. They’re very expensive at Amazon and health food stores. They’re supposed to be some of the healthiest nuts.
Btw, if you love cashew, you should try sansrival, a Filipino wafer cake. The best sansrival is from Lansang Ocampo in Sta Rita, Pampanga. That’s too far though. Goldilocks bake shop’s version is a far second, but good enough.
Magalang, Pampanga’s pili mazapan candies and rolls are excellent too!
I really enjoyed watching you and your happy family.. Keep it up..
Oh no last week..take care always FAM.😊🥰

If your schedule is still manageable, a quick visit to Subic Bay Free Port for a day is another adventure. It takes about 2 and half to 3 hours to get there from Manila. You would find alot of US products, you could also watch the dolphin and sealion shows at the Ocean Adventure Park. Thanks for loving our homeland. ❤️🇵🇭
Next time you go up North in Baguio visit the strawberryfields LA Union for surfing Basco Batanes etc or visit the beaches in Subic or Angeles New Clark city

Im from Samar where we also have Pili trees. We have the best Mazapan a pili product from pili thats only found in Northern Samar a neighboring island of Sorsgon. I love most the fresh pili and mazapan. I have it always as pasalubong (gift to share) from Samar everytime I go to Manila.
You can try visit Antipolo City for cashew nuts. Also try their suman (rice cake treat) which is also best paired with ripe mangoes. ☺️
Boil the noodle then wait for a while then add eggs and some veggies.
Please comeback sooon

You should’ve tried eating at Bigg’s. That’s Bicol’s pride ❤
You should try fresh pili nuts. It has a nice pine smell when you chew it.
❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️♥️😍😍😍
Its a pity you did not stay a day or 2 in Legazpi.
Are you guys coming back to Philippines after your Thailand.
This is a good title and thumbnal but not clickbaiting, haha. Pili Nuts is a famous delicacy in Bicol Region. I think its only found in Bicol. As far as i know, Bicol Region is famous in the Philippines for that Pili Nuts, Laing and Bicol Express not to mention the other foods which i have forgotten. But of course, no one can forget the perfect cone Mayon Volcano in Albay Province.
I’m surprised that Pili nuts are expensive in the US.
These nuts are abundant in Bicol region. Donsol is part of Bicol.
🥰🥰🇵🇭
Ohhhh no. I dont want your family leave Philippines. 😢😢😢
Pili nuts are grown only in the Bicol area, Philippines
Have you guys already visited BGC highstreet or uptown mall in bgc in metro manila?
❤
Why you're getting more and more beautiful and looking a lot younger than before.
Jojo is a girl magnet! There was one stalking him.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤙🤙🤙
Sam’s ramen looks spicy though
Pili nuts are the healthiest nut in the world!
Pili nuts is very expensive- & very healthiest nuts whole wide world/ raw pili nuts boil it / you can eat
The purple skin-it’s yummy!
Have you ever tried eating the fruit itself?
so sad it's your final week here ☹️
🤍🤍😘
Why is it rainy which is not suppose to be really the climate has changed..
pili is better coated with syrup
Pili nut better than Pecan
What is your religion guys?
We are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Hi Fam what's your religion btw?
