There's a sub-catagory under ignoring your roster. Don't sacrifice high-mid / endgame team development to simply jump from one GL to the next. Chasing farms resulted in some underdeveloped fleets and major teams (4 and 5 star y wing, btl-b y wing, hyena bomber, emporers shuttle, just now farming Executor, Imp Troopers, Revans, Geos, Merin Nightsisters, BHs, Traya Sith, Dash Scoundrels / Smugglers, etc.)
My last 5 months have been playing catch up and team completion. It's a bit of a drag.

I’ve been chasing the meta a bit because the guild expects a GLeia soon after the raid starts (I’m 70 shards and a lot of relics away at this point), and I need to get Profanity started, but I really have a top heavy account and need to fill out the middle.
Zorii is in the works, though.

JML is my banner sniper in 3v3. Bastilla lead, JML, and Wat get me so many holds. I feel like so many people underestimate that team.

I feel the most efficient GL farm for a new account or an alt would be start with JML. You get around 5 teams by the time you are done and if you push the relics, you get some of Leia's requirements as well. They dont ask for capital ships either. The relic 8 is now purchasable with game currency so its up to you to do it ftp. So Luke 1st, Leia 2nd.
3rd GL should be JMK, you would have built up the Negotiator, have GAS and GG rdy to farm sep fleet on the side.
4th Jabba. You already have some BH done from getting Chewie for JML. And its the only GL thats required in a raid.
Rest of the GLs are I feel luxury ones. SEE is your JMK panic counter, SLKR is your "Fine Ill do it myself" GL, Rey is your "I just wanna see the world burn in GAC" and LV you could truly skip entirely. Although he does have a mission in the ROTE. Imagine farming a GL just so you can 3 star a TB.
With the lightspeed packs, I wouldnt bother farming them anymore. Just get the ships and buy the packs.
Well said, I'm a casual player and I've got all the requirements for GML except for JML. When I realized Leia had some of the same requirements, I was absolutely stoked. Been farming for her requirements and profundity due to it being a rebel fleet as well. Easy farm, simple requirements, ships aren't necessary. New Players (if they play every day) could potentially get a GL within 16 months of play. IF they spend, they can get 2-3 of them within the first year!

The way I'm doing one of my smurfs is I'm going for Lord Vader and I'm kind of focusing the requirements for both Yoda and Padmé so I can run a decent GR team during the quest. I realized after the fact that going for the GAS Separatist requirement units would be more efficient but I went for Geos because of how they can keep a decent standing in Squad Arena and barrel through Galactic War as I'm leveling up and farming other characters. Not to mention the GAS Separatists probably wouldnt be as efficient because you don't need Geos to be super strong to nab Padmé; you can manage it with g9 or g10

Love the ignoring your heart segment. Lord Vader was gonna be my second GL just because I love the character. Thanks to the light speed bundles I’m getting Rey and then Kylo first so he’ll actually be my fourth lol but I’m definitely going for him once I finish up Rey and Kylo! I grew up on the prequels and was so psyched when he came out

After getting the LS bundle I thought "great, now I can farm Zorii!". I soon after realized that would be futile because the Zorii team needs 5-6 zetas and my next 15-20 zetas are spoken for just to put together formidable SLKR+Rey teams. Once I finally get that established I'll then have to go back to the original projects I was working on BB (before bundle) that will have been put off for several months (zeta-wise) by that point. So, no, sadly at the current zeta pace I'm not sure I'll ever get a chance to have a Zorii team. At least not while they're still A-Tier

I always make sure I can maximise the efficiency of my farms. I’m just finishing up a Starkiller farm that I expanded out a ton to make the most out of the requirements. Did it take much longer than if I had minimised the farm to what was necessary? Yes, but I feel like I’m going to get the most out of my characters now.
If I had just done the requirements, I’d be scrapping together random scoundrels for Dash, Rebels for Kyle, Sith for Talon, and a Sith/LS-UFU/Jedi combo for Starkiller and Mara Jade.
Instead, I’ve got a brilliant Scoundrels team for Dash (Kuiil, IG-11, Hondo, and BMando), Rebels for Kyle (Mon Mothma, Biggs, Wedge, and Lando), Sith for Talon (Traya, Sion, Nihilus, and Savage, but will shift Talon over to Sith Empire once I get Malgus from next Proving Grounds) and a Palpatine/Visas/Old-Ben/Juhani for Starkiller and Mara Jade.
I've been playing for approximately 2 years now. I had slkr, executor, starkiller and a couple of things done (half of the JML reqs including JKL done) prior to the lightspeed bundles. I bought the rey bundles and now I am just taking Rey from 12 to relic. I think I will finish JML early next year and then clean up a couple of secondary teams to relic, like my padme and traya teams, probably revan as well. I am hoping that the Jedi Knight Cal reqs get accelerated around that time and I will get him. THEN I will go back for profundity before going into SEE later in the year (currently at 6/14 reqs for SEE).
Current GP is 4.9m and I think in general I have a pretty good roster for my time played/GP total. Only my mods are garbage for the most part.
I followed this route LV -> Executor -> Profundity -> JML -> Rey -> SLKR (currently working on him, i got him through the BB8 LS Bundle , Rey i Farmed before the the LS Bundles came around) currently i have to work on Raid Toons Sadly i would love to finally Finish my Teams to really bump my Roster.
I bounce from gl's to TB needs to "I wanna fill out this comp because I like it" quite a bit. Not having as many gl's, having some developed off-meta teams filled out has really helped sometimes.
I just unlocked my first Galactic Legend earlier this week. I wanted to grind for Lord Vader since Anakin is one of my favourite characters (then Kenobi immediately after)... then, around late spring, i decided to transition to SLKR since i was much closer to unlocking him, then Lightspeed helped me finish the grind. My future grind plans are GAS > Rey > Executor > Sith Eternal > Kenobi > then finally Lord Vader
Mostly agree with you. I have one I would add, but also one that I would contest a bit. I think I would contest, not going for things that you struggle to have access to, I think CG has been loosening up a lot of things. It is possible to get pretty much any character (minus Reva) if you have a semi-moderate guild. It might take a while, but looking forward is not necessarily a bad thing. Farms are a marathon, not a sprint.
The thing I would add, is to not be super single focus on GLs. As mentioned, some requirements you get are pretty garbage. Either in between GLs, or interspersed with the GL reqs, it's good to build characters and teams that stand on their own merit. It helps to safeguard your position in GAC.
Also, with finishing your farms, go back to ones that were lifted after you finish a GL. I got Rey a long time ago, and I am still working on Zorii.
Yeah everything is certainly available, it's just a question of timing it right for each person's account
I wish someone made some awesome guides to properly farm all of the GLs individually.
I’m going to finish Rey (6th GL) by the end of December and then spend 2024 farming whatever I want for funzies.
No matter what, we’re always going to feel like our rosters aren’t good enough. It’s how the game is made.
Yeah the "caught up" thing isn't real. That is the nature of the game, even the most advanced rosters feel behind
8:57 Something important for me. I am doing LV as my first GL, because I like this charakter and I have managed to get GAS(also I very like him) for him recently and I am very satisfied now. When I get LV, it will be more satisfying. I know that better ways are SLKR, SEE or even Jabba, but I like Anakin and I want to follow my heart and I'm not afraid of Kyrotech. Everything good comes with time.

I agree with the point that theres no bad GL. They have weaknesses, they can be weaker than each other BUT they are individually or in a team, more powerful than any legendary character

I'm following my heart with the leviathan farm. It'll probably take me 3 or more months but it'll give me the morale I need to keep on grinding in this game
I agree. I know many think I’m crazy but I’m going after LV first due to the fact I’m not ignoring my heart 😂. Next will be JMK. Prequels/clone wars are my favorite. Plus I get general skywalker out of it too which I’m going for anyway.

He's not a legend, but the first time I got beat by JKR I decided I had to have him because I had spent way too much time being Revan in the KOTOR games... it stirred something up in me. He was the first farm I ever conducted seriously.

People don’t properly finish GL teams. They unlock the GL, put it on D, call it good. I routinely see LV on D with a r5 Royal Guard in Kyber 2. Roll out my bounty hunters and call it a counter. If they put the serious effort in and r9 that RG it completely changes the calculus and now it demands serious treatment.

I didnt know where else to ask you this: Is it worth holding off on that last Ultimate Ability Mat to farm 74 more tickets for the next GL? I'm thinking it doesn't really matter, since the farm is the same both now and then, or am I missing something that makes it beneficial?
I typically prefer to fill up to 74. That can help you get ready faster for the next one. As long as you're not missing a GAC lock or two, it makes sense

I have LV and in chromium, Arodium and lower level guild TW there is no need for Maul, they dont know how to defeat LV already... LV Maul is Kyber case.

Can’t stress the last one enough. People may say that JML or Vader is the worst GL, but they’re still a damn GL, the top of the game, best of the best, still better than basically any character aside from other GLs

So right on that resistance team ...they all suck ...intill zoro .... I cant wait till i get done with ships .... They takeing my time and i know in long run its worth it... But atm farming is so lame .( boreing) ....y wing ..... Out Rider and tie reaper........ Just empire fleet period .....and i so need core teams ....been doing too many gl back to back ....and also farm kyro techs... Gotta keep atleast once daily imhop dont hit that wall like ive done for a whole year of just passively farming kyros.. like from grand arena etc .... Always farm ls 7 kyrotech....... I so want vadet but that farm sigh nit even close .... executor and see and rey for me to farm but need thise zetas lol
Jmk was going to be my first GL, LS bundles turned that into SLKR > Rey > JMK. All I’m really missing is a couple relics and Wat is 5* but ill be getting many squads and 3 capital ships out of it.

Quite literally the highest hold rate of any leader over as many GAC seasons as insight will let me see at a time.

JML is the second worst Defensive GL. SEE is 100% the worst.
SEE with Malak or Savage can actually be tricky. JML has pretty much no Jedi that will totally curb something simple like GG/Nute
Who uses SEE on defense, he can beat anything you need to beat on offense
Some of the upper tiers of GAC that are leaving 6+ GLs on defense.
That's not really the question though. Lol Jabba beats anything on offense too and he's commonly left on defense everywhere
Traya/savage Omi makes him much stronger
