  • Although we recently moved office I'm still only a 10 minute walk from where the trains leave Union station and cross Clinton Street. So on my last trip I walked down after work to see what was happening. The new SD70 MACHs have started to appear regularly on the services here, I saw 5 in 40 minutes all of them are here although you only get a glimpse of one of them.
You also get the trains running in and out of the Ogilvy Transportation Centre above you here, so there are a few of those too including one of UPs GP15 switchers.
This weekend I'm heading out to rural Illinois to explore some of the shortlines, I'm not sure I'm going to see a lot.
I hope you enjoy the video and if you do please subscribe, it's free.

Enjoyed the location, impressed with the cleanliness of the Metra locos.
The UP GP15 was a nice glimpse at the end of the Video…. The line west is shared by UP freight with some interesting yards along the way
West Chicago is my favourite where the line interchanges with EJ&E ( now CN )
    Thank you
