Hi, I've watched your interesting videos. Very informative that you do the work and convert your machines to Proto48. I do something similar, keeping the wrong gauge. But I put the bogie covers closer to the wheel sets so that the brake blocks are in line with the wheels. The bogies are narrower and look more exemplary under the locomotive body. I have one more question, I see so many GP60s in your video. Is there any chance that you can sell me one of these locomotives? I would be very happy to hear your feedback. Often the locomotives will be transferred to another area of need. Probably not running.

Must be something really heavy in those freight cars for them to be carried by 5 diesel engines. Or these engines needed to be transported to some stations en route.

they upgraded some tracks to class I standards (10-15mph), yet they still drive like 5mph on the upgraded tracks, why?

When I wa the swutchman there, Pioneer Railcorp, our trusty motor was a 1952 SW-8 GR&I.w8th #6 air, brass reverser,wood trim in the cab, and a woven aux. gen belt.

If I was in the management of the ND&W, I would have a couple of the GP20s fully repainted into the Santa Fe paint scheme.

The track is a hundred times better than when the line was the Maumee and Western. I don’t think that they would have any problem in running B40-8s and GP60s on it.

I Patriot Rail bought out Pioneer Rail. I know they have been replacing power on a couple of lines here in Georgia.
