Am I the only one who HATES TAS gameplay videos? It takes all the fun of watching somebody play the game and feels like it's not even an actual player doing the walkthrough...
ZorotheGallade No, this is most definitely tool-assisted. There is no way in heck any human being could play this flawlessly. It's not what I'd call a speedrun, but you can tell just by looking at it that he slowed it down and used save-states. Like, seriously, just skip somewhere in the middle of it and tell me he didn't.
+MiniMacro No, that's totally different. I'm referring to when you record a movie in the emulator with the game slowed down, then play it back at regular speed.

You pick the boss you want to face, the entire series let you do this. It's what made Mega Man stand out at the time, that and the usually outstanding soundtracks.
I might get a lots of hate but Mega man 5 is not the best NES mega man game because: The weapons are shit (Except for napalm bomb and gyro attack) Rush coil in this game is crap. Most stage were boring. The bosses were easy (except for charge man) The story is lame. And final boss isn't that exciting. It's lousy as hell.
Mega Man 5 used to be one of my favorite games in the series It was my third favorite behind 8 and 6 But I began noticing the flaws and it went down on me I still love it,but nowhere near as much
I love seeing how Megaman spins around whenever we saw what new power he got.
Oh, and it makes for a good dance to that song.

This is probably my favorite of all the Mega Man games.
Same here. Even though it's a bit on the easier side it's a quick and fun game to blast through on a Saturday afternoon.
It’s one of my favorites too
Chargeman = The pissed off cousin of Thomas the Tank Engine
Well gyro man is my fave his power is awsome :-P
Disastrous Absol lol indeed
*LOL*
My fav is also charge man
@@sheercold5311Same here. I also like Charge Man and Wave Man

MegaMan games, the symbol of my childhood :3!!
This game is awesome and also one of my favorites
Nice gameplay!
Also, I've always loved the NES Mega Man music
***** I love the Music too :D From all Megaman games :DO and don't forget Megaman X ^^
Oh from that set of games also!
Me too. I think the Mega Man franchise has the best stage music of all video games.
The series just keeps getting better
Agreed

You should've studied the blueprints more carefully Wily...
There is just ONE true Proto-man❤️
The arrow breaks the game almost as much as the Cape in Super Mario World..
pious83 Surfing on a Q-Tip!
how does the super arrow break the game
Ima have to learn the jump on the arrow trick.
And that’s what makes both games so awesome!!!!
@@redhawk44109 It travels until it hits a wall, and fast too, it can be used as a platform, and later bosses are weak to it
Mad skillz dude. really fun to watch!
Memories and still playing them. I love the themes after megaman 3
Definitely still playing them.
1:16 Been a long time since I played this, is there a surprise or something if you go left there, or is that just wasted space?
When I played megaman, I always made sure mega wasn't looking the boss exploding, like a boss.
What a magnificent skill with the Arrow
Other than Megaman 2 and 3, 5 is by far, my top favorite NES game of all time. The level design and the enemies are great, but I think the music is pretty self-explanatory.
I agree on Megaman 2, 3, and 5 being my fav NES Megaman games of all time as well.
I know many of you all like mega man 5 but I don't. 3, 4, and 6 are my favorites. 2 is ok. 1 and 5 is just bland imo.

I always liked this one for some reason. Better bosses and music than 4.
Especially the Robot Master selection song in this game, even by main Mega Man game standards, it’s catchy as fuck!

is it just me or does the charge kick work just like the top spin from mega man 3?
Alvaro Alas Yes. They both sucks.
29:05 Ouch!
IMO Mega Man 5 has the best OST of the series, just behind Mega Man 2, of course.
Easy: Napalm man, Crystal man, Stone man.
Difficult: Charge man, Gravity man, Wave man (Xtrem), Gyro man (Xtrem), Star man
why isn't charge man called train man?
Mega Man 5,is awesome.
The video in 240p looks like 480p? But how?

The best soundtrack is in Wave man, Charge man, Gyro man, n Star man
It’s not a speed run just because it’s fast and efficient.
Can't focus on rock music right now there's a void there I found that needed mending in between cleansing
The Gyro Man battle is about as easy as it comes in gaming.
imagine being built, and your weakness *is a screen nuke.*
Great Gameplay!

This Game is pretty Cool! :]
New Line Cinema & Steve Oedekerk The Nick Jr House 1991
This guy is just too good!
You would think mad scientist who is smart enough to keep making all these robot bosses would eventually be smart enough to realize THEY NEVER WORK!!!
Definitely the best Megaman game of all time! Waaay superior to Megaman X... :3
лучшая из всех 6 частей.
I think the Game Boy Megamans was much harder than the NES versions.
I made Megaman 2 on Gameboy back in time but these was really hard.
*charge man beats the hell out of mega man with his anger*

Nice speedrun.
So much drama in that ten seconds with Protoman.
Megaman the Power Battle & Power Fighters were both 2 player.

exatly! his power should be train charge or something
you got skillz! I couldnt even beat mega ,man 2 on the gameboy lol
The fact that the screen loads half a tile up and right annoys me
It's boring when it's done perfectly
Waveman soundtrack is the best❤
And I bet you also like that the rising bubble section was brought back for Splash Woman's stage in Mega Man 9.
It has some good ones, but III was a lot better in my eyes.
Cool video

LoL, Stone Man's stuff was almost totally useless against Charge Man. Buster was always so much easier.
Tip for Darkman4, use Beat.

Gyro Man
Napalm Man
Stone Man
Charge Man
Star Man
Gravity Man

When is Megaman ever gonna wise up and just kill Wiley already?
He has to follow robot law, he can't kill any human, be it good, or evil.
