The first minute of this video perfectly describes why I gave up pursuing art. Love turned into stress and even now I still love and admire art but have a negative headspace when I create. Allowing myself to "play" with the materials will help but it's hard to let go of perfectionism and those standards that were set early. The love and excitement you share for art and it is why I love this channel and. You inspired me to try gouache and be more playful in art. Thank you for that, I have a long way to go but thank you for starting the journey. The showing up part, I need work on.
