- Despite being one of the most hated creators on RUclips, it's impossible to deny that he is one of the best at what he does. People don't just stumble into a career the size of Jake Paul's, it's as calculated as any other. He's used subtlety, the media and his own awful public image to grow one of the larges channels on RUclips, this video will explain how he did it.

He has always been super cocky with his thumbnails and content, especially in the early years of his channel (2017-2019) but he has matured a bit since then, he cannot ignore and stop changing. Change is a fundamental feature of life you cannot stop it and at some point you won’t even realized that you have changed, your mind adapts to it and doesn’t consider it change anymore.

The funniest part about this is the fact that he can be a brainless douchebag for the next couple of years and when he feels satisfied with the amount of money gathered through out the years he can then drop the mask and do something constructive/at least more mature, gaining a big momentum, mostly because people consider him changed and worthful of redemption without knowing if this was just a mask or not...It truly intrigues me the way youtube shapes out personalities and sometimes I do wonder how's the game gonna evolve in the next couple of years.

But at what cost though ? Is all the hate really not affecting these people ? If he really is trying to be as "douchy" and clickable as possible, doesn't he feel like he is losing major time and energy building up that persona ? Or does he even find his professional life fulfilling ?
I feel like it's not all black or all white. Jake has that personality within him, just less intense, and as a good marketer he knows how to tune it up for the cameras. I'm sure he isn't like this privately just like I'm sure he isn't a saint either.

The point I was making was that the majority of these celebs/musicians/actors are not intellectually or creatively exceptional. Some yes but generally speaking no. For example - Celebs and products
Kanye with Yeezy, Rhianna with Fendi, Dre with Beats, Paris Hilton with her brand, Kim Kardashian with her brand.
Let's be real here. Companies have approached each one of them and made a pitch. They might have a creative input here or there but in terms of product development, design, marketing etc. they do sweet f*ck all. Yet their considered as "genius" or "marketing genius". Like this video and Jake Paul. Do i admire what he's achieved here? Of-course and fair play to him. Fair play to all these tik tokers, only fan chicks, social influencer and so on. Make your buck. But he's not a genius for it. He simply has the finance, fanbase and the ability to gain attention. His following was based on the premise of him being an idiot. Guess what? Children are impressionable and they loved his content. That was literally his and his brother's brand. It ultimately comes down to our consumption and obsession with celeb culture.
What significant impact have they made to warrant such respect compared to those names I mentioned earlier?
This is one of the best video's I've seen on modern characters blended into reality to fool the audience.

The problem with this is if you don’t become famous and make money you just end up becoming infamous looking like a hole and will never be able to walk the streets with out some one making fun of you. Just found your channel and have really enjoyed doing a 2 hour binge. To answer your question, in deference to boxing and my almost 2 decades of boxing and now coaching, Jake Paul's level of talent would fall somewhere between a Police Athletic League competitor and a Golden Gloves entrant.
He has the rudimentary skills of someone who has been training for a year but is technically not very sound. His movement is stiff and flat footed and his "defense" (using that term lightly) is what would be called entry level orthodox with a bit of Shell. I could pick out at least two dozen Cruiserweight guys/kids from my small gym outside NYC that would just embarrass him.
I genuinely believe the usually dubious Dillin Danis about a "NO KNOCKOUT CLAUSE" being part of the Paul's contracts based upon what i have seen. What we would call "70% sparring"

in a way, it really goes to show that there is no such thing as bad publicity. he knows that no matter how much he is hated, it still keeps getting him media attention and unless he does something that would be beyond reprehensible (murder, pedophilia, rape, etc), being the "bad boy of youtube" still helps give him an image that will continue to make him shitloads of money
Success isn't all about money or the incentive to earn more. When pretty much the entire internet despises you, it drastically affects your personality and attitude.

To address the very last question/statement, I don't think Jake has his sights set on reviving his RUclips channel. I won't lie, I went from not being bothered by Jake to liking him because of his mind and how he maneuvers "the game". And having followed his media coverage, be it in the ring or on Impaulsive or IG, he seems to be more focused on diving deeper into mainstream media, such as Football (he's stated). I would say that his RUclips channel is now just that entity he brings along with him, sort of like a diary to document big highlight parts of his life, but nothing more. No dedicated posting schedules, no social media gimmicks for channel growth, and so on.
As salty as it makes me about my own life. He’s cashing in on the whole “all publicity is good publicity”. He’s gonna have more money, free time and pleasure than I’ll ever be able to have, so by every definition the mans smarter than me, or at least more talented than me in the areas that matter.
And why does it matter? You could just...not care? Talk about yourself that way and you deserve to wallow in low-self esteem.
