- Long overdue update. I decided I didn't like the original body style, and got bored with the project, but then thought I'd have a go at a different body.
I'm reasonably happy with it now. It needs tidying up a bit, but it's almost there. Hopefully I'll now get round to actually running it.
Keith I was so worried civilization was going to collapse before I got to see this updated. You're an absolute legend. wow. nearly 12 years i've been following this now.
Incredible
legit comment.
he started 6 years ago
8 years for me what a journey
@@MrNice97the engine build started jan 2014 on one of the model engineering forums, the RUclips videos came years later. There was a v8 build way before this.
Holy hell it's good to see an update, safety regulations around bumper dimensions surely mean we'll never see a full scale car look this epic. We want to see it running though
Only RC build I’ve been following long term 🙏🏾💯
Not a single other rc build has ever taken this long… but its fair, this thing is exceptional
Only RC build to follow really. But it's almost on the border before it becomes an entire car of it's own. Should give it a Tesla brain and make it ride autonomously🤣 screaming down the highway at Mach jesus, can overtake lorries by passing under the entire thing from the trailer to the cab🤣
1/4 scale grave digger update would be cool too.
Yes.
One of thee coolest builds the internet has ever seen.
Where engineering becomes art! Absolutely stunning!!👍👍
I've followed you on the forums all the way through building your V8 and then V10 and through to today, and I've followed lots of other builds in that time in many different scale sizes as well as full scale build, there's been a whole bunch of them.
But this car and the engine in it, is one of those builds that I'm in aww of, it's such a powerful showcase of your abundant skill and knowledge, but it's also a showcase of what "backyard engineers" are truly capable of.
which 'forums' has this amazing project has this been posted on?
- please share
@@BenjaminT.Minkler its on the Model Engine Maker forums.
We just need a mini Stig. The new body looks great, thanks for the update.
you mean baby Stig
@shortyleatherworks5693 I think that some like Ben Collins should visit this guy. #bencollinsdrives
The man the myth the legend, HE'S BACK! That thing looks so sick!
I was following your project for 6 years. Its time to test it in the street. As someone told you in another comment, you are a legend Keith. Greetings from Argentina.
That thing looks absolutely bonkers! So glad we finally got to see the final outcome. Now we just need an RC race series for miniature V10's!
He’s back! Looks amazing!
It’s been a long time but always love an update on this amazing project.
Coolest RC car I've ever seen. Can't wait to see it running with the new body.
Hands down, greatest build on youtube! Thank you for sharing your amazing talents. It's an absolute pleasure, regardless of time between uploads, to see the progression.
Sweet !!
Honestly this body style looks far better then before n you did an amazing job with it.
Beautifully crafted n I'm lovin the paint scheme with the black on black, very well done. 👍🏻👍🏻😎
Amazing build. The time, money and amount of effort that has went into this rig is unreal. Now this is a hardcore hobby build
That looks amazing. Great work. So pleased to see another video. Can't wait to see her run in anger. I read your blog about the engine build many years ago, after seeing an early video, and whilst I don't understand how you did it I thoroughly appreciate the artistry involved throughout. You are a craftsman for sure. Keep up the great work 😎😎
I have been following this build for years, a fantastic piece of engineering. It looked spectacular before but I think the new body suits it better. Great to see so many positive comments from others that also enjoy seeing your engineering.
0:58 OMG…. Keith you are INCREDIBLE… Even the look now is out of this world…!!
I’m following you since so many years, you’re the most talented person into our hobby that I know and by so far, so far………
I’m 45 yo and working into automotive domain, whole studies and career, I WOULD LOVE one day to have a presentation about yourself cause I’m 1000%, I mean that’s obvious, you should have an outstanding career and knowledge, I’m sure we should be A LOT wanting to learn about you !
Of course I also understand that’s privacy so I respect that, but if one day you feel the desire to share a bit the story of your life, please don’t hesitate !!
You are easily one of the greatest men on RUclips.
Un énorme merci pour toutes vos vidéos et mes sincères salutations depuis la France 🇫🇷!!
Vincent.
It's beautiful, back end reminds me of old prototype race cars
That is outrageous and astonishing and outstanding! Your engineering ability is amazing and I suspect a lifetime of knowledge had gone into that car. Can’t wait for the running footage.
WOW !
So many Details so many Hours of Work and Thinking
A beautiful Masterpiece that have hardly any Competition !👍
Absolutely "Apex" level imagination brewed into form. It's just gorgeous. Congrats on the current form and structure- you should be proud.
Ayyyy you’re back. Looks great man amazing work
Absolutely wild that I was one of the first couple hundred people to find this. Starting with an interest in micro motors. Then he built this thing, and has over 100k subs. Wild. What a masterpiece.
Amazing work Keith! Thank you so much for sharing your progress and passion!
WOW! What a beautiful beast 😍 it became. I’m so glad to see this project finally getting almost finished. Really finished such projects never get, I know.
Now I‘m so curious to see this crazy beauty moving.
This is the most epic thing on the entire interwebs. Seriously, there are not words to properly describe the sheer amount of awesomeness happening here.
So nice to see a new video of your genius. What a nice Christmas present for us! Love the new body work. Absolutely stunning. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Can't believe it's been almost 10 years since I started following this project from just a little homemade v10 to this absolute work of art in engineering form. Love it man we all hope to see you again soon.
That is absolutely astonishing. God I love the British bloke! We are capable of absolutely anything! All we need is a shed, a kettle and a handful of tools and there's nothing we can't build!
Seriously though pal, that car is stunning. I love the active aero and the overall styling. Not to mention the engine itself. Truly flawless work sir. You should be severely proud of that work!
We need a full in-depth video with possible start up. I know you’ve done similar before. But I’ve watched them 10x over. This fascinates me beyond belief 👌🏻 I wish I was this talented and patient to do this workmanship
I have been watching this build for years, I was wondering when your next video was coming and without fail it looks amazing, your skills are on another level, can’t wait for the next video, hopefully a full test run, a very well done it looks amazing👍🇬🇧
Episode 20 is gonna go crazy, I can't wait for 2026!
Been following this, build for years, and I gotta say it looks freakin beautiful.I finally got around to looking at this page, and I hadn't looked in a couple years great work!!!!
It's crazy to me, I was 15 when you first started this. Happy to see how far you've come, and I'm happy that you haven't given up on the project. Cheers
An absolute work of art, we need to see her running around a carpark or something. Been following this build for as long as i can possibly remember at this point
Glad to see you back and the car looks great. I hope you enjoy the holidays.
That thing is beautiful I've been watching since the beginning
So stoked to see an update
Its turned into what I imagine a modern "Batmobile" with a sportscars twist or similar would look like... in a good way, of course. Well done, as usual.
Stunning looking car. Congratulations on a fine job. Can't wait to see it run.
I started high school, graduated, began college, graduated from that, and now ive been working in my field for 1.5 years. I had done all of that in the the time span from part one of this! Love how it pops up every couple years after a milestone haha
Never clicked on a video so quick. Been following for years! Can’t wait to see a full video of it running and doing speed tests etc
I can't describe the joy I feel each time I see a video about this project!!!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!! Can't wait to see it rip!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I like the 'hard top' design, and how it opens is cool(powered?) and the front wheel guards hung on the hubs to turn with them is a nice touch
.... so much detail in this sharp work of art(in both form and function!) now *just don't crash it* !!!
Just amazing to see all the craftsmanship you put into this incredible project!
Been watching the progress of this over the duration, remember when one of your videos got recommended to me and it’s an incredible build. To see how it is now. Absolutely amazing work. Priceless piece of engineering and attention to detail.
No words can describe this I’m speechless ❤
Happy to see an update. Such great craftsmanship!
It’s looking fantastic, you’ve done a sterling job with the body 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Oh wow that body design is absolutely beautiful and menacing at the same time.
Reminds me of a cross between a Formula 1 and a closed cockpit Prototype car.
Good to see ya back . Thanks for the update and merry Christmas to you all.
Estou maravilhado
Been waiting a looooong time for this update, but clearly, good things come to those who wait. What a beauty!

How long have I been following this build now? My goodness has to be over a decade, I'd imagine. You're work and craftsmanship blew my mind when I first started watching and that certainly hasn't changed its fantastic to see an update have a great Holiday season can't wait for the next 1

Need ta see this bad boy out in a big parking lot or on a scale race track some where. Beautiful work all around. been subbed to you for a while now and this car still amazes me with all the transformations and upgrades.
OMG, first upload in what seems like years!! Hope to see more.
This thing is the epitomy of rc car builds....🤯🤩😍
The most anticipated rc car first drive on the whole of the Internet
It a labor of love for you and an epic for us. Look forward to seeing your updates every time you post and i've been following for 5 years...
Looking forward to seeing the full scale someday, Keith!
❤ Parece que ficou pronto..... Parabenizo você pela engenharia dessa obra prima !!
Yes mate! You keep surprising us with new twist. Love it!
This is really coming along! Can't wait to see it running and driving!
What a relieve to see, you are still working on this cool project.
So that you know, your the only channel i have turned the notifications on for. Once i got it, i put the video on full screen, set it to high definition, blinked many times, took a deep breath than started watching 👀
I absolutely love the new look...awesome. Now we need a 1/3 scale Talladega.
Yet again, awesome work.
Good to see you and the car back Keith. Can you tell me what you do for a living and how you got the skills to build this so beautifully. I've worked in engineering all my life and dont think Ive ever met anyone that can match your level
I was design engineer, but I’m mainly self taught.
@@Keith5700 I am truly blown away by your skills Keith. I cant wait for the next video. please dont leave it another 2 years
Great to see you back, absolutely outstanding work 👍👍👍
Good to see an update. How much power does this thing put down?
Not much, it sounds better than it goes.
You got really far. Awesome project.
Ah I was really worried you had passed away or were poorly :( So happy to see the car! Looking Great! Such a beautful piece of micro engineering. Briliant.
Dude that looks freaking RAD!
Definitely a perfectionist
Hell yeah, looks like the sort of thing Batman would take out for a spin on the weekend
It's been a while but good things come to those who wait. I know the feeling when you lose interest in a project, it happens, we're only human. I'm sure you'll get your mojo back and start doing a bit more now you have a body you like more. Thanks for the update and keep at it :)
Keith Koenigsegg Jr. making dreams into reality.
Love the canopy opening. I know it's cliche, but it's like opening a jewelry box.
we have been waiting for ten years now to see it move!
Sir, this is an outstanding achievement , right up there with the very best of model engineering over many decades. I recall following the v10 engine build on the forums around ten years ago, and also your v8 before this. Most people will not be aware that on this journey you achieved extremely complex 3D milling cuts entirely on a manual machine, not a CNC! Appreciate this update. Be interested to know what the engine management system is, I recall you tried megasquirt on one of your engines at one point.
