My oldest son got me turned on to Creed back in the 90's, Scott Stapp is great! Glad to hear him again. So you said "stay clean", I know he had a few run-ins with the police, and various personal issues, did he have drug problems outside of drinking? And yes I do feel drinking can be a huge problem.
Scott Stapp is one of those vocalists you hear and you instantly know who it is. Just like Axl Rose, David Draiman, Roy Khan, Michael Sweet and many others. To NOT sound like everyone else is a true gift.

Scott is one of the best things that happened to this band, He has such amazing vocals, sounds like he hasn't lost a step thru the year's. Very excited for this albums release!!!
Definitely the band for Scott. He's always been the more upbeat hard rock guy, while Mark has been the heavy metal type guy. I just think Creed was a good starting point for both guys and should stay like that. Good luck, Scott.
Apart from the first Alter Bridge album (which was possibly worked out during rehearsals with Scott before Myles joined in, so there's an Scott influence there...) Tremonti's solo work don't impress me, there's no memorable moments neither hooks like the Creed era, he had more than enough time to proove us he was the main composer, but it seems he was not. They should stay separated.
@@FeelingShred Have you listened to his album A Dying Machine? Songs like The First the Last, Desolation, Trust, Take You With Me, to me they're amazing. Just my opinion, but if you haven't checked that album out give it a listen man.
@@FeelingShred Tremonti was a BIG influence on the creed albums. Even his latest Tremonti work is comparable lyrically to that of creed. He also wrote the majority of the first alterbridge album as well as co-writing and writing entire songs from mid to late alterbridge.

Saw them tonight in NYC. Not a full concert. More like a showcase/preview. What I saw , I wanted more. They sounded & looked really good. Album being released in March. Can't wait!

I've never listened to much Creed growing up but man after all the not so good news about Scott I felt really bad and now this song, it hits home and I can hear and feel the pain and emotion when he sings.. Damm.

Nothing like a well crafted radio single with a great hook. I grew up with Creed and am a fan for life. Scott Stapp has always been a master of deep lyrics and ear worm hooks. I like this track more each time I listen to it. Kool video minus the 1983 hair metal drum kit. 5more minutes of thinking could come up with a better drum visual idea. However, I dig the sound and I'll be supporting Art Of Anarchy! Well done fellas!
