    Bose Flex is the BEST in that speaker size class without price being a factor. Better than all THOSE and the marshall emberton and the JBL flip, and the soundcore motion +. Im waiting on Bose to release a new bigger speaker to compete with the newer released stuff. ( like the X600 and Middleton) May be a " Flex XL " or something. The revolve+ been around already for 6 yrs.

    The Soundcore Boost is a little jewel in terms of a bit of depth and it happens to my only smallish, cheapish speaker that can handle ALL of my music with some decency. Guess I got lucky with the EQ setting, too. The Tribit is an honest challenger for those who prefer a more direct sound. The other 2, you can keep. (Another) Good rewiew. 👍

  • @shredman59

    The thing is, if you don't have all 4 together, they all probably sound pretty good. For traveling, I think I would choose the Tozo because if I lost it or broke it I wouldn't be too upset. If you are buying for a small room, then you may want to pay more. Also consider the JBL Charge because if size isn't a factor, it's not much more than the Flex and I think has bigger sound.

    I think it's worth the extra money for the Maxsound Plus or the the Boost. I guess the Tozo speaker is OK (for the price) if there's no way to save up for the other options. Tozo isn't new to me I have a few of their wireless earbuds and the battery life is pretty good. Interesting to see them moving into the speaker segment as well. Hopefully, they'll continue to improve their products and make them even more competitive in the future. Thank you for another outstanding review, Alan! 😁👍👏

    • @_-Z-
      @_-Z- Год назад

      Agreed. They already have customizable embeddable eq for some of their newer earbuds within their Tozo app. I'm not sure why they didn't take a que from Soundcore and make an add on in the app for this speaker with the same option. If this is their first speaker, all I can figure is maybe they're experimenting to feel out the competition to see how well it will sell for as little as they can do and get away with.

    I have a Tozo PA1 and it was a great speaker for $36 on sale.
    But it's true and true that it has flaws and it doesn't always sound the way it should.
    We also have a Maxsound Plus at home, and the Tribit definitely sounds nicer.
    I listen to the PA1 in Bass mode at around 50-60% and it sounds quite good there.
    If a person gets used to his voice, he can be accepted.
    I like the Tozo because it feels like it has more bass than the Tribit.
    But there are indeed Frequencies that do not work well.
    I didn't like the Standard and Treble modes.
    Rarely, with some music, it appears that the tuning is not good and the sound seems strange.
    I measured the size of the Driver and it is indeed 50mm, the marketing material says 67mm.

    I ended up adding a Bose SoundLink Flex to my collection and one thing that took me by surprise is the terrible setup. It may just be my Pixel because most of the Pixels I've owned have been a little wonky in the Bluetooth department, but getting the Flex connected to my phone was a real issue. It's setup and working now but while connected the Bose app for it cannot detect it now that it's "working". Also the previous time I got it connected and the Bose app worked with it for a bit I tried out the built in voice on the Flex and the voice is surprisingly bad.

    The Tozo was worse than I thought it would be but it is not horrible. The Soundcore highs roll off to early for me. And the Tribit sounds nice at lower volumes but not at max. And the bose is the overall best but worse in value. The funny thing I realized in my family and friends. Either they buy the cheapest speaker possible and it breaks less than 2 months or just sound horrible. But when my uncle used to be into car audio he use to spend thousands of dollars on equipment and his son sells subs and keeps on breaking down his setup for minor adjustments. I'm the only person that actually cares about Bluetooth speakers and sound quality nowadays. But they wouldn't mind me gifting them a speaker which I have for a few😅

    I bought the Boost a week or so ago. It’s all good, I use it to listen to both pop, folk and electronic music, but have you noticed any issues with volume fluctuating? I am an iOS user, the volume fluctuating in certain songs can be a bit of a nuisance, EQ doesn’t seem to help much. Android users apparently don’t have the same issue, as volume can be controlled separately, having the phone volume on max and controlling the volume through the speaker, where as on iOS it is synced.

      @@pericore9100 i think its an opinion. he didnt actually attack anyone. his opinion seems to be the cheap speakers are so bad you wouldnt buy them if you knew about sound quality. i see that as an opinion. as someone who buys these cheap speakers and can listen happily i dont feel insulted. now if he had said im an idiot for thinking these are any good that would be different. but its a fair opinion to think you cant know audio if you like these cheap speakers. for all i know he has a 10k hifi setup that of course makes these seem very silly indeed.

      @@alanrossreviews bro puede qué sí pero en cuanto a el sonido qué emite para su precio es un Titán sólido y lleva años y Aún así llega siendo el preferido de muchos con respecto a una escucha fiel y detallada... Yo Tengo un ecualizador qué hace qué suene grueso completo cuando la música lo amerita... Tengo 2 en stereo y son la bombabomba. .. Lo qué me gusta de un sonido es que sea limpió y detallado y el maxsound plus en esa área es un León... Saludos mi bro😎

    Why do you compare speaker's but they have different price's ? We know bose will win, but 150 come on the name...lol what about hour's? 40 definitely decent at least they tried but battery life you didn't compare that small battery seriously. You can Pair 2 on pa1 battery life at least 15 . Definitely not bad for 35 plus 15 battery. Bose 150 4.2 BT you also didn't mention that.

    @alanrossreviews, nice review as usual
    I'd say for $30, its not bad for the value it gives, i wonder how it'll compare with the highly praised Oontz speakers @ about same price range
    If bose is around $70 range, i'll go for it, it sounds the best for me, but for that bass, price, value...soundcore boost should do just fine
    Soundcore should come up with a JBL boombox 3 direct contender, a more advanced form of Motion boom plus with proper high quality tweeters, deeper bass & high clarity, maybe a retail price of $250 - $300 will be just fine (Or i'm just day dreaming😅)

      its weird they havent even got a stormbox blast contender, for me the boom plyus is an outdoor only speaker.

      @@alanrossreviews Lol, both boom & boom plus were sold as 'Extreme Outdoor Sound' but the boom kinda is 'A man for all season'
      In other words, Soundcore should come up with a real boom big brother that'll be a worthy opponent to the blast, i won't be surprise if the likes of Mifa comes up with something that'll blow us away, these companies are just improving by the day
