My grandfather flew a Corsair in the south pacific including Tarawa, Pelielu, Pavuvu, and more. His squadron commander was George "Pappy" Boyington.

I love the looks of the classic warbirds. I got into flying the rc P-47 razorback and F-16 thunderbird. Nice job and best of luck Jewels! Aviation is a great hobby and possibly career!

For me too it is the best fighter plane of the Second World War. Even my dad was lucky enough to fly the f 4u Corsair during the war, he is the best, without taking anything away from the p51 mustang and other planes. ciaooo
