was this the maiden, I would say it looked like it never was in trim or just two much elevator control. Or maybe balance it was maybe just a bit to tail heavy. I've had many corsairs of all sizes including a carf I'm in the middle of building and once you get them trimmed and find the right balance they are a nice flying plane.
sorry about your airplane… You might have made it if you had a steady descent rate… The second the airplane boomed a little upward killed your speed… I see you also had a flameout. Not good wonder why? I hope you can fix it and be back in the air soon. Thumbs up for me for good luck
@@aviationcz oh … Yeah you can't see any wind in the video not even a blade of grass so that was deceiving. And when the airplane boomed upward it was slow looked under control… That was also deceiving. If only the motor would've lasted another 10 seconds it would've been a normal landing. Hope the rebuild goes well
Teary eyed thumbs up.
The full size were tricky birds to land.
VERY NICE GIRL THERE. Odd wind, and speed sometimes at just the wrong time cause disaster. MAN, hate seeing it happen .

Hello @Aviation CZ
I would like to ask where the plans for the plane are from?
Engine quit at precisely the wrong time
shit happens , with flaps you could come steeper downwards and the flight stays controllable. the flat position makes the plan too slow
*He let it slow down to much.*
*Been there done that.*
Too high on the downwind and diving in on final resulted in poor airspeed control
Looks like a CompArf corsair- At least a $10K investment
The flaps down too much. Maybe don't put the flaps down.

The motor stopped and it was not visible, a strong wind was blowing.
