all you did was clean the outside. you sucked in 200ml of hot schorching water, then added oxyclean which never got inside the hose, let alone gragle around in there in order to displace that goo.
If you have a better method please share with us. It was an experiment to see which method worked best. There's another video where we used lemon juice :ruclips.net/video/TISJLXUSA3c/видео.html and one more where we used vinegar and baking soda: ruclips.net/video/ongVsl6Re4A/видео.html
hey bro. well, i'll try covering the 3 vids u posted on this matter. how to clean a silicone or washable hose. a preliminary step can be a strong air jet blowing, such as a compressor, to dislodge sticky matter. then, press it against your faucet nozzle, or in it, or over it. run hot water through the hose for 2-3 minutes. then lay the hose, coiled up, in a pot where you have a 2:10 lemon juice/warm water mix, with 2 teaspoons of salt melted in. wiggle the hose around the liquid, turn it slowly until it gets completely flooded. leave the hose in there for 30 minutes, then remove it and repeat the first step (run hot water thru it for 2-3 minutes), dry it by blowing air into it (an air compressor, again. if possible) and leave it in a sunlit place for a day, or more. make sure the hose is completely dry before using it again. in europe, we have cleaners, based on orange citric acid, designed for cleaning hookah parts. but until that point, we used to do it that way. ps - i strongly advise against using white vinegar, people. some hoses have a metallic coil or other small metal parts, including mouthtips. vinegar will eat thru or otherwise compromise those. Thanks for that tip on how to clean your hose. The hoses with "a metallic coil" are not washable, so not only is vinegar bad, any form of liquid is bad for the hose. Those hoses will eventually rot anyway from use. I'll try your tip since I have access to a compressor. Thanks for sharing it.
What your doing makes no sense my friend. The reason people use lemon juice is to neutralize the various chemicals that are in tobacco which are classified as being basic. This converts the chemicals into a salt which can be extracted/are soluble by water. Now people then use baking powder to neutralize any remaining acid and same process repeats itself. Water can act as a base or acid so lemon juice and excess water would work fine alone.
Thanks bro for information
I use hot water lemon juice apple cider vinegar with the mother and baking soda get rid of the ghost pretty well
+Stephen Schradin How hot is the water you use? I would be afraid to melt some of the hotglue away with some washable hoses.
just hot water from the tap just hot enough to loosen the grime
+Stephen Schradin ah ok, that doesn't sound too bad.
This video helped allot :D Thanks
Uhhhh id rather not clean something i smoke out of with fucking oxyclean lmaoooo

+Ryan Strozewski Thanks for the tip
Do not ever use rubbing alcohol with silicone. It will degrade it
