@@Aroused_Pineapple 1) The situtation with Jae is a completely different issue that I talked about in depth on my stream after the tournament. That's a personal issue that I decided I'm not going to be silent on anymore because I'm not going to let anyone bully me just because they have a bigger following than me.
2) This video is completely different lol. As you can see I take it all light hearted and I don't really care and there's nothing personal here. As I mentioned in the video the guy I'm playing has a long line of ACTUAL toxicity to random people who simply just beat them.
3) My original point which I haven't wavered on is that ki charging isn't inherintly toxic, and context matters. Considering this guy's past and the tea bagging after the intent was clear.
4) You clearly don't like me because you ALWAYS have some kind of essay piece to make whenever you find something I do that you disagree with so if that's the case it shouldn't be hard for you to just stop watching my content. It was funny at the start

I've never seen an Asuka player that doesn't unga bunga. Not a single one. They are always, ALWAYS, pressing buttons.
Majority of female chars is played like that online tbh.
She’s designed in a dumb way, it’s all panic moves with dumb crush properties. Even when it’s not her turn it’s actually her turn. She requires no real knowledge of frames purely because of this.

@@santiagogomez949 hwao doesn’t have crush properties on loads of moves he’s just a frame monster but full of lows and highs and can be sidestepped quite easily on a lot of set ups once you get used to him it’s alright but he has his turn and keeps it, if you don’t dodge which makes sense. But she gets rewarded pretty much most, doing what you really shouldn’t be doing and that’s just pressing a button, even when she’s extremely minus on block. The backflip alone dodges highs and lots of mids and the start up on the crush property is way faster than when the actually attack lands and it is -17 but has really good push back. That’s a lot of reward with a much less risk but it feels more like that with most of her moves set not just 1 or 2 moves. It feels like lings pheonix stance accept the crush properties come from the attacks not the stance itself.
As an Asuka player who doesn't play bunga bunga, it doesn't work lol, the bunga too strong. On the real though, its kinda the character's design. I don't really enjoy playing her as much anymore because of this design, and i personally would like them to give her more fundamental tools and execution, to make her more interesting, but i know she is supposed to appeal to newer players. Just for clarity I play Asuka and Kazuya (similar gameplans).
Remission symptoms of toxicity are hard to deal with.

Toxic Asuka players are the ones that are abusing her parry move.
More from that, if you see her parry, don't even try attacking, but grabs or any attacks not involving punches and kicks (like knee, elbow, or body attacks (especially airborne)) can attack through her parry.
Luckily, at least there are specific inputs to get out of the parry depending on which action button you first inflicted on Asuka during the parry (if Asuka's parry goes through). There's a video about Tekken secret moves and Asuka's parry is in that specific video.
@@tvoovm7254 The parry is fine. I got no jab pressure. And I dont even optimize my combos with her. Which is the real embarrassing thing when someone loses to me.
As an Asuka main; trust me... we want to play fundamentals like everyone else.
Only problem is....*we have NO 10fr Punishers at all since Tekken fucking 5* Harada designed her to be a panic move character...
I'd gladly trade 3 of Asuka's panic moves for a decent punish

Don’t focus on flow charts hwao isn’t meant to just specifically flow chart even though he’s good at it. At high level play flow charts with hwao become meaningless.
At the end of the day experience is king. The more you play the more comfortable you get and things will eventually start to flow if you keep at it. In the meantime when S4 drops I will finally be making a Hwoa guide so hopefully that helps

So I was watching the video, enjoing the content when K-wiss mentions a tournament that I haven't seen yet. Paused the video, went to watch top 8. Got to a match K-wiss mentioned first, watched it, came back here. Then K-wiss starts to talk about the next match - had to pause again and went back to top 8. Watch till the next K-wiss match, went back here only to hear "Next was Me vs...". :) Paused again, went back to top 8.
That was the longest 19 minute video I have ever seen - took me a whole evening to get through :D

Damn right after watching this video i play my first match of the day and its asuka. He beats me first match i beat him next 4 matches and i left. They do play hella toxic and dont even block lows. I was using Josie by the way.

Your ability for pattern recognition is amazing, I'm really bad at recognising flowcharts, setups and player tendencies.
Learn frames and you’ll start to see yourself seeing moves and predicting them before they come out. Dedication in this game pays off.
@@raijinxfujin7314 frames don't really help with recognising patterns imo. There are too many options in this game (including people making the wrong ones) that simply knowing frame disadvantage or advantage won't help with.
@@Roflo13east It’s the complete opposite knowing frames is crucial because you understand what people are following up with. Easy example with yoshi, while rising 4, 1+2 (stance) on block is -6 theoretically it’s your turn but yoshi can use a 12 frame high crush counter hit launcher so jabs might be quicker but can’t beat It out but knowing it’s 12f makes it obvious that’ll be the option yoshi will use because anything else he would use instead would lose out. It can be ducked as well but at -6 you can pull out a 13f mid and stop it all together. Or his unblockable stab, if he’s at point blank with you and hits you with hit you have enough frames to still punish him with a spring kick even though he actually hit you... so yeah frames even in flow chart are important because if you know the opponents frames you can interpret what options is best and will likely come out. If you don’t hesitate against a yoshi you won’t get hit by his stuff either it’s too slow even somethings on hit can be jab mashed out of sometimes which makes his options pretty obvious. That’s what makes it hard for high level yoshi’s.
In basic terms knowing frames in flowcharts helps you find the gaps to counter them.
@@raijinxfujin7314 I get what you're saying and yeah I guess it can help; I don't claim to be good at this game nor can I whisper the frames, But i think the scenario you chose is one that is very specific and also doesn't factor in other options which might not be a good choice (see the random cancans in the video above).
If we took something far more innocuous for example, I actually got called out in peterymao's latest video for using df1 into df1,2 as a flowchart (not that I even realised this lmao), but at -1 on block the potential options I am able to take from that are limitless, but a good player would be able to recognise the pattern and punish accordingly. I've fought a jin before who would exclusively follow up a jab with his low kick (db4?), or kings who use leg breaker (fc df1) as oki after a dropkick knockdown.
I guess what I'm saying is, yeah I agree knowing some frame data can be advantageous, but just saying "learn the frames" isn't the way either, there is some ability to be able to recognise flowcharts and patterns in opponents behaviour that goes much further than what frame data can provide and is overall more beneficial than it.

if you press for example one you have to mash 1+3 and f
there is a way to get every parry even if you don't remember what button you pressed before
you can bind all buttons together and mash it with f for parries like asukas

Wen I used to go to the arcade to play Tekken we all used to ki-charge or taunt after a sick comeback or a BBC (big boy combo) and no one got offended by it, it was all a joke. I dunno why online players get to triggered by it, but it's a nice way to get in their heads lol

Ki charge imo isnt inherantly 'toxic'. It can be a great way to set up some cool spots like that dougfromparis did against Qudans, BUT online are filled with guys like this who does it just to mock and taunt people. Everything is too personal and disrespectful for them and thus in this context i guess like he said ,is toxic.

Generally asuka players are the least toxic since asuka is mostly a defensive player and those who play her are more chill in real life. Probably not her main.

I never considered Ki charging I always considered it as the person is confident or hyping themselves up after a clutch or dominant round . Shit I feel most players with a character dynamic charge animation do it Bryan Asuka Lili Dragunov Eddy etc and they look cool asf . I’d take more offense if someone tea bagged me....
