You have to know the large majority of this does not represent AT ALL the mainstream music listened in France back in those days. These songs are usually lost and long-forgotten, as good as they may be - or not. You should listen to better produced, and more famous French songs from the synth-pop era, there are a lot of incredible sounds :)
