I love weird gacha! Wish we'd get them in Germany as well, but we can only order anime themed ones (nothing wrong with those, but I prefer bigger anime figures so those are just not for me).
They're starting to become more popular in the USA. I know of 3 stores near me that sell them
I'm from germany too! My local asian restaurant has tiny gachas. They are these little cats with orbs that are waving at you. So adorable
Nice all I have to say is it wasn’t dumb spending, but a business expense since you made a video about it. It looked like a good haul.
I feel like a lot of these random objects are pieces for making diorama that they bulk buy and resell as gachapon. (cement pouring, porta potty, cars, traffic cones, etc.)

I think the transparent plastic wire of the googly eyes fuzzy worm is supposed to be attached to the front of a belt buckle on you. Than you move the worm between your fingers to make it appear as if it was alive and moving by itself.

Sadly, the mall that I always go to removed their gacha machines :(( now I only have to buy randomly via online shops. Local gacha machines here sucks 😭 they only care about the revenue, no cuteness at all

No literal meaning, I believe it comes from a Japanese onomatopoeia “gachagacha” the sound the machine makes when you spin the gacha machine dial.
