seriously the best drama for me..exceeding all i have watched so far may it be historical or typical k drama i've watched and finished it yesterday and have watched latest t k dramas this 2020 but so far nothing surpass this epic drama.
The cinematography of this show is just brilliant. It's one of the best I've seen in historic dramas. Just blends so well with the characters and the story. P.S.: Ji Chang Wook is the best Korean actor ever. Period. ❤️

And ji chang wook portrayed his character and the story so well here, he portrayed what the director wants and leave an impressive impression to the audience! (means the drama capture the heart of the audience and leave an impression which also means the drama is so fucking great!💘) And same to ha ji won's acting too❤ Ha Jiwon's acting here is so mutherfuckin great! Like bitch i can't even say anything😶💓 it is so perfect! She got the feels bitch!💘 the emotions, expressions! I was told to watch it years ago, I finally began it only two days ago. I hope to enjoy it. I had tried re-watching The Great Queen Seondeok and the re-watch went very badly, I realized the script wasn't good. I thought the same thing would happen but so far I am on episode 4 with no complaints at all.
I have been captivated all this week watching almost none stop except for work. Beginning to feel a sense of loss, for now I am on Episode 43 out 51. What I am I to do? I highly recommend this series. Awesome.
My favorite Korean Drama... I'm literally obsessed with it ... The beach scene was beautiful ... The drama left a big hole in my heart that no other drama out there will fill ..
@@Didyne77 I also feel Ji Chang Wook gets justice in healer. In Empress Ki they have just destroyed the essence of his character as if confused what to make out of it . It started out so beautifully but then completely messed up.

This drama literally took the soul out of me. I don't know which drama to watch anymore, which drama can exceed "Empress Ki" and fill in the emptiness that is built in me that the other series have not been able to fill. Any suggestions?
I actually liked that they made him go a bit darker. I will never forgive the writers for including the rape. But TaHwan not adjusting perfectly to the power he gained isn't out of character. I think if he had stayed cute, he would have been less impactful of a character. Nyang also had her imperfections as she rose to power, though the drama tries to make her right every chance it gets. Nyang and Paeha were interesting because they were so complex. their character development wasn't simply from point A to B, which made them more realistic and truly human.
Sofya Perrin yea actually I also like how he sorta became a psycho, but the rape was just waaaay too much. I know he's an actor but i really like him and that was probably just a little too much to handle at the heat of the moment. Although he could've played a way worse role...The change was too big I guesse..
Susmita K.C. it's not so sharp to the point of rape. Sunyang could've got him on his place if she wanted. In that case at least. He was out of control already losing the edges of power and himself but she knew that even in that situation he was asking her help.
