as an asian flowerhorn breeder and keeper, i would like to advise you guys on a couple of things whenever you wanna pick/buy a flowerhorn especially in asia, pay attention to the base of the aquarium/tank..sellers will always put red paper/plastic/stickers/sometimes they paint it to add the red hue/color on the fish, especially when the lights are on..on this video, almost all tanks got red base..thats the number 1 trick we use to make our fishes more sellable another thing is, pay attention to the fish waste..if the waste is red, it means that they feed the fish with loads of color enhancer which is not healthy for the fish and theres a chance that the color will fade

I just think it's nuts those fish never existed in the wild and are completely man made! I remember seeing Parrot fish for the first time in the mid 90s and being completely blown away by them. I sold all my fish just to get them. These are on another level 😮 !
A little help for people new to flowerhorns These fish are extremely aggressive and can’t be housed with other fishes regularly. They do better in taller tanks compared to short and long tanks Another things I would worn you guys about is their health they are extremely delicate fishes keep up to date with water is highly important and I highly recommend not feeding them more than 2x a day especially if the food contains more protein than anything else. Sadly over the years and countless breeding the life expectancy has gone down from 10 years to around 5-7 years max. Personally I keep my fh in waters around 78-84f and feed 2x a day from shrimp, ballets, etc and do water changes around 10-20% every 3 weeks and drop some medication everytime I do a water change. This has worked for me for 8+ years ofc we all have different experiences but this is what works for me and hopefully helps you too and enjoy the fh keeping

If you're talking about the first house, they are F0 and F1 Kamfa. Only the breeder keeps F0 and F1 the usual keeper keep from F2 up because they look better (artificially 😂 I like natural fish more)

I just got out of rearing and collecting Flowerhorn, and this video shows up. :( they uses red/pink light to make it more red. in reality most of the FH "natural" color is faded red/pink. But i see some with really nice deep reds even without the pink lights. those are more $$$.
