Fantastic. I'm a senior citizen who's been playing with photoshop for a few years and I easily comprehended your procedure. I admire your phenomenal teaching skill. Cheers
That`s awesome, thanks for tuning in

Let me know what you've been capturing below!
Been working on coloured hand made glassware! Very unique shapes
@@Splitleaf glassware is great, throw a big light behind that!
I've used my product photography skills and merged it with product video. I've recently done a Starbucks Commercial
@@sunilchitolie6771 That sounds awesome! Would love to see that sometime! Feel free to tag us @workphlo on IG, or share in our Facebook Group. :) Thanks for watching!
@@workphlo I will most definitely do that!!
Great job! :)
Have a good week!

Hey! No problem
You are truly defining your YT channel name with your videos. 💯
You are providing all of the info from scratch!!
Love your videos 🤩
.
And I'm still on a pending list on your fb group since a week 😬
Please review it.
Hi! I love this tutorial. I was fine capturing the lipstick but couldn't nail focus on the paint drop, as I was trying to focus on it whilst holding it - how did you achieve this?
Well made vid as always, you really know how to teach my friend! Is there any reading material you recommend for photoshop or product photography????? Where ever you learned has got to be the holy grail of high end product photo knowledge......
Haha I am honored! I am all self taught from watching everyone and anyone on RUclips. I find a lot of it is intuitive once we have a handle on the popular tools. Though I am looking to make a longer video going through my common Photoshop tips and approaches, so stay tuned for that! Cheers Matthew
Bravo Dustin 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hey you! Thanks so much my friend keep up your awesome work!
@@workphlo I try my best mate... you make a really inspiring and educational content that each one must be watch 🤙🏻

hi , could you explain what different when you shoot mat surface and glossy ? i mean how you use the light to show differenc
What camera is good for a beginner to get started
Nice product placement for Timmies! :-)
I'm still waiting for my cheque from head office 🍁☕💰
Nice work
Cheers Alper, thanks for the feedback.
Hey Dustin, I was looking for these 5 in 1 reflectors as you used for background and people seem to complain about the black fabric being reflective… Has it been an issue for you and would you mind telling which one you use, please? Cheers ^ ^
How did you match the color from lipstick and drop?
What is the liquid used for the drip
what if you dont't have any stripbox b ut an small octobox? Can you get this final point again or is that the matter of light shaper? Thanks...
I need help setting up my trigger
well done. Thank you for the BTS ;) love learning new ways of doing things
I was wondering, for the products you shoot, do you purchase them or do companies send you samples? I would love to do more product photography, however the cost of purchasing all these products that I will never use other than to photograph is a bit much ;)
Thank you for watching! A combination of both, we're consistently receiving product samples or paid shoots items, though we grab items all the time to light up for educational or portfolio purposes. Since most of the work I do is in the e-commece/catalog-white background space, the more creative examples are usually experimental shots like this one we took for fun on our own volition.
Though getting a product you can also use or gift is always nice!
Best
@@workphlo Thank you ;) have a most wonderful day
@@jacquelinemartin9793 You too, thanks so much for stopping by.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, but i really need help, i have a shooting soon for Motorcycle Gloves, and i feel like i'm lost , coz mostly what i see in youtube is product photography that is not fabric , any tips that would great thanks
Right on, the trickiest part might be 'mounting' the gloves in a shape that looks flattering, if the materials are matte to some degree it might be a simple softbox setup. What type of shots are you looking to capture? If you want a full blown consultation live we offer 30 minute chats via webcam if you're stuck!
@@workphlo i purchased 1 Pair Silicone Hand Displays Model which is flexible so i can shape it as i like, i wanna do a creative shots not just white background, it's a female Gloves for Motorcycle dirt bike it's soft matte black with red or pink colors with a shinny carbon fiber top, so i wanna combine between the product and female thing ( tuff, and femnam )
nice
Cheers, more product photography soon and plenty of compositing.
Hi there, how did you turn that red into purple at the end?
Hi there, so I just used a Hue/Saturation adjustment and turned the Hue knob. The reason I am able to do this easily is because the image is pure red essentially monochrome, so the adjustment is just a click away.
I showed this to illustrate if you had 8 colors to shoot, this would have the flexibility of a modular system to render each color if desired. Thanks for asking!
@@workphlo THANKS!

This is enjoys. Splendid! Hope your views increase like exponentially! 😆All buttons i worked! Keep posting, will come back for more goods.

Very fast!
Flexing?
This is simple rim light couple of layers composit.
Go and see brian rodgers if you want to see flexing.
Ok but I think I meant 'fleshing out' ideas #noflex 😂
15 years ago this would have been great. Not its like poor mans CGI.
i will not be satisfied until you put a man bun >:(
I was seriously considering it! haha stay tuned and find out ;)
