Every pianist who endeavors to play this etude should listen to this before they go after speed without heeding the beat that makes this music so compelling. Besides, rhythm is not inimical to speed...on the contrary, it is the clock tick that helps synchronize all the moving parts of the human playing apparatus.
At 0:37 does the piano double the bass? It seems that Peyman follows the scores of Moszkowski quite precisely for the piano-part, but at that spot it seems as if I hear something extra in the piano piece, doubling of the bass, but an octave higher?
How this great Op. 72 of Moszkowski keeps inspiring artists - even ~150 years after it has been written...! Great tribute by Peyman Pasha.
This is my favorite etude, you gave it a different characteristic. I enjoyed it a lot. Your creativity.
I'm glad!
I thoroughly enjoyed this after having watched several pianists desperately chasing notes!!! Thanks for the refreshing change!
Dude, that's actually a sick arrangement. Can't believe it took seven years for RUclips to recommend this. :D
Very nicely arranged and interpreted. I played this many years ago for my final exam in the music school.
Love this! This composer seems to be popular in Iranian classical musicians! (I’m learning this too)
Unfortunately he isn't popular at all, due to Iranian don't like classical music..
But every musician knows him.

Um, the tempo marking that Moskowski wrote is a lot faster than this. It’s also not that difficult.
Amazing!

Это очень музыкальный этюд..
А пианист долбит как автомат...
Wow. Sloppily played, under tempo, with obnoxious, unnecessary, also badly played accompaniment
