Yeah, but it may affect how many stitches and rows you do. I'd suggest measure with the smaller one to see how many stitches minimum you'd need to fit around your head comfortably. But then start the hat with the larger one, so when you sew it up, it isn't as snug. I hope that helps and that it turns out well😊
It’s not supposed to shrink, right? Usually when i do HDC i chain 2 at the beginning of each row and then kind of skip the chain part. As we are chaining 1 in this pattern should i HDC through the chain also so I won’t lose any stitches?
Yeah, there shouldn't be any shrinking, so if you find that happening, I'd do what you stated before by chaining 2 instead. I mostly chain 1 for leverage to HDC into the first stitch of the row, but chaining 2 and skipping the first stitch is essentially the same thing.
I'm not sure to be honest🤔 I know its time consuming to undo something you've worked hard on, but sometimes that's just the case. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I hope it works out though
OH MY GODDESS! RAUNI, YOU'RE A HERO, MY LOVE!!! XD I have been trying to do this so many ways with right handed tutorials, i love the ladies, but it's so difficult. I do have a question, doing the way you're doing, would you be able to crochet a crescent moon into the band?
Thanks so much. If I understand the question, I'm not sure if you'd be able to crochet a crescent moon into the initial design, but you can always attach a separate piece. So when you finish the hat, you can fold it where you'd like and then create or buy a piece to sew on. I hope that answers your question.
Definitely, but the amount of stitches and rows will change. More than likely, you'll have to do more stitches and more rows to achieve the length and width you want. I'd keep a measuring tape nearby or put the first row around your head to make sure it fits how you want it to. I hope this helps, but feel free to ask any other questions you might have😊
omg thank you so much for doing this for left handed people because i struggled so bad
YES LEFT HANDED

it`s hard to understand as not left handed, but this sooo good tutorial and I really happy that you doing video like this.
You think i can use a medium yarn and a large sized yarn together

Hi Rauni! Do you have any advice on how to resize the end product without having to completely redo the beanie?

I didn't understand if i should make a half double crochet on the next loop or the first chain at first in the beginning of the video
Do you mean on the first row...?
@@RauniPaigeO at 4:11 should i skip the first loop ?
I don't, i do one into the first one. But if you do want to skip, you'll want to chain two at the end of each row instead of one.
Hi, I'm not left handed but I found this tutorial very helpful. How many rows did you crochet to make the beanie?
I did 24 total but depending on the type of yarn you use, it will vary.
Thank you can you make a right handed next please?
there are millions of right handed tutorials
Can someone write down the steps please
Where is the link to understand the first part better? 😭 I literally can’t understand
Thank you idid itt

@@RauniPaigeOit does!!!
Hi me again but can i do this with 3 yarn
For sure, but I'd make sure to measure as you go because you might need more stitches or more rows to make it the size you need for your head
@@RauniPaigeO okay tysm
would it still work if i use thinner yarn and a 4.5 mm hook?
Definitely, but the amount of stitches and rows will change. More than likely, you'll have to do more stitches and more rows to achieve the length and width you want.
