🤪😂It was a nice break from the regular day to day builds.
I am amazed with the simplicity and ingenuity of the project. Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks for sharing. Excellent job.
Fun project. Thank you.
I always appreciate a fun (non furniture making) woodworking project. Thanks!
Hahah thanks!
The cube in the cube is perfect. I've never seen that before. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! It was a fun to make and my kids thought it was really cool
Totally going to make these with my son
My son had a lot of fun building it with me! I’m sure yours would love it!
Love it! Thanks Jesse!
Thank you, brother!
Great video; really well done. Thanks for putting this together!
Great mystery wood projects to make with the kids. I still have the cube I made about 12 years on the shelf
12 years ago?? That’s amazing!
I've made several ball in cage puzzles in the past sixty years. But l made them the old fashioned way, with a pocket knife. I also abandoned as many as I made. To my mind the golf ball is an interesting curiosity but is contrived. The man made ball inside worked natural wood says there's a trick to it. That said I am going to make another one but the trick will be to use the hole saw spinning against the timber spinning on the lathe to shape the ball. The ball from a piece of the timber used to make the cage. That way I could make several a day.
All that is by way is saying 'Good Job!' 👍
Oh, once I decided to whittle a chain. I roughed out about five feet of timber on the band saw and started whittling. I got to about five links before I lost interest.
Thanks again and best regards!
That’s a lot of hard work snd skill!!!! Love it!
These are fun projects. Thanks for sharing them.
Thank you!
I literally did not expect the boiled wood/bent lamination plot twist with the golf ball. Well done.
Haha thanks man! I always thought It would be best project and wanted to try it out
Really useful images 👏
Great , love it got to try the golf ball build .Thanks
Thanks man! It’s a fun little project and will be great to sit on my desk once we can all go back to work! Haha
Very cool projects indeed!
Thank you! It was a fun one
Cube in a cube -how cool! Sugestion- cover the golf ball with plastic cling before inserting to keep it clean for finishing.
Thanks Frank! Good suggestions
I really enjoyed this one! Usually when I'm watching videos I know what's coming next, but your video kept me guessing. Great Job!
Thanks!!!! I really appreciate that and so glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you, Gus. That means a lot!
@@PenaltyBoxWoodshop it was my learnin experance. sorry just cant seem to spell. guess its a good thig im fair to partly cloudy with wood. lol ill keep watchin to learn all your tricks. lol
I sand the inner cube before loosening it, so it still has support. Once you cut it, you can just focus on the corners
That’s a great suggestion!
Very very good job nics
Thanks buddy!
What’s the dimensions of the wood block you used for the golf ball one
What size forstner bit did you use
Where can I buy that ruler thank bill
Если внутренний кубик покрыть морилкой, то будет казаться, что он из другого дерева сделан. Эффект будет еще круче
i sir, can you tell me where i can buy a rule like your red rule in this video, thanks.
I should have a link to it in the description section of the video. If there is not let me know ans I’ll add one asap
Ok thank, i find it
Excellent
Late comment - It would have been very 'meta' to have the golf ball hold the cage down in the hot water.
Where are Husky tools made?
Almost word for word from Steve ramsay video
Yea, there isn’t many different ways to make these things….
@@PenaltyBoxWoodshop Steve's video is 12 years old now and you were nice enough to mention you took tips from it so I think you are in the clear. Great video! First time I came accross your channel, subscribing for sure!! :)
Thank you so much. I really appreciate that
Like the measurements instead of metric system.
