Thoroughly enjoyed this video today as always. Teddy is growing fast. He was nervous but he soon realised freedom is what it’s all about. You are fantastic with him. Cannot wait for more.

Wonderful blue sky and birdsong, together. 👌✨ Teddy's senses will feel a tad 'overwhelmed' at his first outside venture, but it won't take him long to 'find his paws' out there. 🐾✨
A BEAUTIFUL morning for everyone watching. 💖✨
(Roasted pumpkin seeds - Very tasty & nutritious..).

I could have watched for hours. Teddy is so adorable. You should put a chai;in the sun for you and bring his lunch outside. I’m sure he would stretch out in the sun after and have a nap. Please take care of your back. You shouldn’t exercise a pulled muscle. Thank you for such a treat. It is the nicest video ever. ❤

when you put a new post in burn the bottom of the post till black and brush the burnt stuff off this helps keep the post from rotting when inserted into the ground. Teddy will look around the garden and work out what is his territory and mark it. He has so much to investigate. Glad you have let him out. He will love it.

Put your seeds on a length of toilet paper, cover them with another piece of toilet paper, leave them laid flat indoors to dry thoroughly. In spring just tear pieces off with seeds and place in the ground, cover with soil and water. I do it every year with my tomatoe seeds, its easy to store and easy to plant...they sprout through the tissue easily...

pumpkin seeds are actually very good for you.. can't remember the specifics, but they are very beneficial for certain health issues.
    Teddy is lovely!

Youve got a good opportunity for lead training. Treats or a dish being rattled will encourage him in especially if he's hungry. Once he gets use to outdoors be prepared for him hollering to be out. There's a big outdoors to explore& he's so curious about everything.

He might disappear for a while but he knows which side his bread is buttered. Do not let yourself get anxious if he does, exploring is normal behaviour. I moved my two cats six times and they were always let out within a few days. Both always returned within a couple of days.

Lovely to see Teddy out and about. I'd wait to see what 'presents' he brings home for you before you do a cat flap. Ours was mostly de-capitated mice and moles. The day he tried to drag the mangled corpse of a duck, twice his size, through the flap was the last straw. He'd found it, not killed it. Now he sits on the kitchen windowsill with little headless rodents dangling from his mouth, while we're eating. We also had a strange cat come in a few times to eat our cats food at night but we didn't mind. He's never been able to catch birds which is a good thing. The garden is looking looking wonderful and so is the weather.

Morning Marc I hope you've had a good few days, weather yesterday there was certainly better than England, nor really cold but gloomy and grey and damp, roll on spring. I loved the way Teddy clung to you when you wentntoo put him down, it shows how safe he feels with you, he's a lovely looking cat, and made me chuckle when you put him by the mole hill 😅, but it could work. Have a great day and watch that back.❤

A cat flap would be perfect for Teddy in the future. But he will adopt the outside world as his second home.

I would block off the gap under the gate, too, to begin with. When you want him, call him. He should know your voice and his name. My cat goes ‘ off piste’ every day at some point, but comes back when called. Occasionally it might take a few minutes, but mostly not that long, so even if I can’t see her, she can hear me. As I said before, food, metal dish, bang dish with a knife and call his name.

Be careful of Teddy's wanderings through the garden and abroad if you fancy birdsong - cats are notorious bird killers. It is estimated in the UK thay they kill over 50 million a year but they do occasionally tackle mice and rats so there is variety. I had a cat once but I ensured it remained inside except when on a long lead with me at the other end.

I would decide what "kind" of cat you want. Indoor? Outdoor? Both? Regardless, young cats, and especially intact males, tend to roam.
If you want to keep him safe (and retrievable) you can put him outside on his harness and/or you can build him a catio. They will get used to whatever routine you devide on.
    Enjoy your spring-like weather!

Once let out there will be no turning him back into a house cat. You may get lucky and he remains close to the house but may choose to go further. Biggest issues will be getting run over if he heads towards the road and abscesses etc from fighting other cats. Also many of your plants will be toxic to cats so watch out for that. Lucky you are not in Australia, free roaming cats are treated as vermin here. The reason I stopped breeding when I emigrated. Some horrible things being done to cats :( Aussies value wildlife over pet cats that are let out.
