Good coffee and car video. Your video on that build was something to watch. I admire the dedication to finish the project where some may have just shluffed it off to the side and made it disappear. Mrs SlotR’s jokes are always entertaining 👍
Well done for your perseverance with the car Dave, I'm sure it will be worth all the heart ache in the end. Distinct improvement in the joke department so well done also to Mrs slotr 👍👍👍
Dave you had a time getting your paint job done, I can definitely see walking away for 6 months, it is a beautiful car, love the white and gold very classy looking, and tell the Mrs another nice joke, crack on.
I'm enjoying your productions Dave, thankyou. As for Mrs Slotr's christmas jokes, they are brilliant. Here's a couple you can tell her. Where do dogs do their Christmas shopping...Woolwoofs What do you get if you eat Christmas decorations...Tinselitis.
Hey Dave. It's Paul from Roads And Rails Hobbies here again. I just wanted to say I remember your build video on that Viper and I feel your pain. I painted a murdered candy paint job on a hot wheels 62 corvette, which is definitely not the easiest paint job to do I might add, and of course just as I had finished polishing it, I picked it up with big old man hands and immediately dropped it on my cement basement floor. So yes in the stripper it went to start all over. And of course my second attempt at the murdered candy did not come out nearly as good as the one I ruined. LOL. On today's bench I will be attempting to install a slottechnik chip into a fly porcshe 917. Wish me luck brother because there's not much room for it. Take care and keep uploading. I look forward to your videos.
As a "special " gift from Mrs. SLOTR it deserves the love and tuning to make it spectacular. Although the car bit you in the paint process (I have had a few do that to me as well) I would be more determined to conquer it and make it run well.
I have a Renault 5 Turbo (1:24 scale Heller Kit) that will go on a BRM Alpha Romeo chassis if i manage to not screw up the painting again.... times of stripping paint until today: 5 (i am so glad that i have an ultrasonic bath for that)
An inspired choice of livery there Dave. So what happens next to cap out the frustration? Revo go and announce six new Martini liveries for their Viper. I imagine there will be a gold one?
that's a how long is a piece of string question, a revoslot suits my style of driving and my layout but it also depends why I'm doing laps, for fun, or to unwind, or to set lap times different tools for different jobs
My admiration for Mrs SlotR rises to unprecedented heights!

Ah yes. The infamous Viper. We were messaging back and forth for weeks about that one. I’m glad you persevered. It was definitely worth the heartache.
I felt your frustration while I was watching that video.
Today is my birthday
Had to watch you this morning
Have a great day
Happy birthday!
