What a masterpiece it still is, even is this abridged version. Mike was just 19 when he composed this. Unbelievably gifted guitarist and composer. Tubular Bells 2 live at Edinborough castle is my favourite though.

i thought orchestral parts were nice, echoing the rendition on Exposed, however the way drum kit was played and incorporated, with those cymbals stupidly hitting every accent, and then making a boring straight beat over the final theme - barrrffff. how out of place. its like the drummer never heard the original and just jammed along, like on a wedding gig.. with that said, i am always happy to see dear old Mike.
