- This video was shot at the Toliet bowl in Okinawa, Japan. I came across this sea snake and I was watching it for a little and noticed it really wasn't moving. I touched it very cautiously to see if it was dead, the more I touched it I soon realized it had gotten it's self stuck. Eventually we pulled it out just enough to free it from the hole. He swam away very quickly but you could tell he was thankful. This video was shot on my Canon G12 in the Ikelite underwater housing.
WOW!! I was just swimming near there in Okinawa!! I hope I don't see any of these poisonous snakes 😩 GREAT VIDEO!!
I did a lot of diving while stationed at Kadena, Okinawa. The snakes freaked me out at first, especially on night dives. But I soon realized that they were actually quite laid back and non aggressive. They were often curious, and would swim around me. I actually handled one. Pretty cool critters. Venomous as hell, but cool.
I came face to face with on eof the very same snakes when I was snorkeling over there, it swam away , but then, so did I
yea, I live in Okinawa now. I will be sure to stay clear of these striped snakes!!
LOL very nice high five at the end!

sea snakes can't bite you there mouth is to small but anyways those Habu Snakes are crazy those will put you in the hospital and the anti venom only works one time
