Hi John thanks for your comment I hope you can enjoy the rest of the series made two years ago now. I was thinking of revisiting the area next year and going over the same route with my drones to provide an aeriel addition to the series. Would that be something you would watch? Best wishes Jon

Romans worried about Vikings? I don't think so . A thousand years too early. I think you mean Angles & Saxons in the 4th century. It was the English that feared the Norsemen in the 9th/10th centuries, without signal stations.

    • @jonimrye5722

Yes a mistake on my part, I intended to say Saxons. This was corrected later and in also in the comments.
The series I did last year on Northumberland sets the record straight as to the saxons migrating here and not invading at all.
You are a long way behind in the viewing order dear friend. You will find that any misleading or inaccurate statements are corrected as the films and series progress.
My research sources are improving as I make new contacts. This series you criticise was mostly done off the top of my head. Current films are much more thoroughly researched.
If you wish to help and support the channels research then please make a donation using the blue link at the top of the "home" page. All help is greatly received and goes to improve the end programme. Many thanks for adding your expertise it is always appreciated. Best wishes Jon
